Here We Go (Original Mix) Swanky Tunes – Here We Go (Original Mix)
Hey guys, thanks for speaking with us here at Techibeats.com. We’re huge fans and are very grateful for the interview opportunity.
Hello. Nice to meet you!
So, how did you guys begin DJ/producing together?
There are 3 guys in our band Dima, Vadim and Stas. We met each other very long ago. Two of us have known each other even since our childhood. We have been producing music for almost 15 years and playing as djs for 7 years already.
You guys have been around since 1998 and many people are just now hearing about your epic music. Were the years of hard work worth the opportunities you’ve recently been given?
You know, there weren’t huge opportunities to share music at the end of 1990′s. There wasn’t Beatport, Twitter, Facebook, etc on the web. To be honest we were just beginners those days. We tried different musical styles. All our musical movements helped us to gain more skills and we finally made our choice- house music. We’ve come a long way to be where we are now.
Sending My Love (Original Mix) Swanky Tunes – Sending My Love (Original Mix)
What do you guys consider to be your biggest ‘break’ so far?
We wouldn’t compare any of our tracks. Everything depends on the audience. For somebody it could be “Sending My Love”, for other people – our collaboration with Tiesto called “Make Some Noise”. As for us, we’d like to see our new track “Here We Go” at the top. So cross your fingers!
You guys have produced multiple tracks with Hard Rock Sofa. How did your guys’ relationship with them begin?
Everything is simple! We live in the same city. Alex from HRS is a cousin of Vadim. It’s very interesting to work with these guys because we understand each other so well and are keen of the same style of music. We definitely have different ways to reach the sound, but our different processes seem to help us to produce good tracks.
How do your shows in the US compare to those in Europe?
It is not a secret that there is a difference between shows in the USA and Europe, but every time we try and do our best to increase our shows and, you know, they go well in Europe and in the USA. We’d like to thank all our fans for their support!
The Edge (Original Mix) Swanky Tunes – The Edge (Original Mix)
Do you guys prefer to play in clubs or festivals?
Both. Of course crowds’ energies and feedback are different, but all each kind make you feel so excited every time!
If you could work with any other producer(s), whom would you team up with?
Difficult to answer, because there are a lot of different producers around. To name a few – Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, Moby.
Who would you say has influenced your music the most?
We listen to many kinds of music. When we were young we were so keen of “Daft Punk”, “The Chemical Brothers”, different funk icons and even punk bands like “The Stooges” were in our ears.
The Legend (Original Mix) Swanky Tunes – The Legend (Original Mix)
Are there any up and coming artists we should keep our eyes on?
Seems you guys know all of them well, but to share some secrets, we take care of an upcoming Russian producer. His alias is Skidka and we’re helping him rise up. So keep your eyes out!
Thanks again for your guys’ time. We’re really loving your latest track ‘Here We Go’, and can’t wait to watch it climb the charts of Beatport.
Thank you for having us here. Really appreciate it, guys!
