Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead – Jambalaya Mix [Free Download]

jambalaya

This Memorial Day Weekend is going to be absolutely insane with all of the amazing concerts and festivals going on and Texas shall be no exception to the trend. Scoremore Presents is putting on Jambalaya: a three day tour through all of Texas’ major cities featuring performances by Zeds Dead, Earl Wolf aka Tyler The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt, Big Boi, Araabmuzik, RL Grime, and G Eazy. Needless to say Jambalaya is going to pop off and this Jambalaya Mix that Zeds Dead made to build up hype for it is the only proof you need. These guys are nuts behind the decks as they manage to incorporate each and every artist set to play Jambalaya within their short mix as well as an amalgamation of the trillest trap, the dubbiest dub, and the sickest of rap songs. Whether you’ll be attending Jambalaya or not, this mix should definitely be on your playlist as you prepare yourself for this weekend’s Memorial Day festivities.

Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead – Spring Mix [Free Download]

artworks-000045786808-w1qic9-t500x500Spring is in the air once again which means that festival season is that much closer to approaching. I couldn’t think of any better way to celebrate then with a filthy, grimy, and awesome hour mix by Zeds Dead as they showcase their ever improving talents behind the decks. These two guys have blown up in the past two years and I can’t possibly see the momentum they’ve been building slow down any time soon. They are fearless when it comes to their song selection as their transitions from dub-step to hip-hop to electro house to trap seems almost flawless while others will never venture outside of their comfort zone. These two are definitely making a name for themselves and if you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them live yet be sure to catch them as they ride the festival circuit all summer long. Enjoy!

Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead & Omar Linx – Cowboy (Remixes)

The mere collaboration between Zeds Dead & Omar Linx was a revolutionary thing for the industry within itself; combining the raw power of bass music with hip-hop’s lyrical flow. Their first EP, Victor, released just under a year ago and was a massive hit within the underground community. They have since continued to release new tracks together, but perhaps none bigger than “Cowboy”. The original mix hits you like an emphatic punch with the perfect blend of strength and musicality. Such a track could not go unnoticed by fellow industry favorites the likes of Torro Torro and Congorock. Both have offered their own renditions in this remix package along with lesser known UZ and DC Breaks. There is something here for everyone as a wide array of genres are included in this package such as electro house, trap, drum & bass, electronica, and dubstep. Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead – Hot Sauce EP

With the plethora of big releases since the start of 2013, it was only time before the ever so popular duo, Zeds Dead, put out a compilation of originals on an EP for our listening pleasure. Zeds Dead have always taken the dive into different genres, but this EP titled, Hot Sauce, ventures into a very experimental territory, perfectly suited for a release on Mad Decent. The EP kicks off with the dark and wobble filled track titled, “Demons” which features excerpts from classic horror films. The ensuing song is the rather liquid and bouncy song, “Playa” which is followed by the minimal and groovey synth packed number called, “Mr. Sub”. For fans of fast UK rooted breakbeat pieces, “Rave” is for you! The last song on this 5 track EP titled, “Trouble” really catches my ear and definitely has a lot of that Zeds Dead recognizable flare we’ve grown to love. All of these songs are sure to add some extra vivacity to the duo’s already exhilarating live performance. With each song being so unique and containing it’s own pizzazz, they each represent a unique flavor that serves as an ingredient in this Hot Sauce, which will be your favorite?

Zeds Dead & Omar Linx – Cowboy (Butch Clancy Remix)

Super dubstep duo, Zeds Dead & rapper Omar Linx have molded a partner

ship that has continuously pumped out highly successful and unique collaborations over the past couple years. “Cowboy” perfectly supports the last statement as it has highly motivational and powerful lyrics on top of a screeching beat. Butchy Clancy decided to take an effort in re-modeling this song into his own twisted sound. The result, is brilliant! Butch flawlessly enhances the sound into a heavier and more crisp sound sure to please any bass lover. This song hits hard and warrants the right to be played on the loudest of speakers. Have at it!
