The latest release off Ultra Records is from none other than Wolfgang Gartner. Known for his complextro tracks and epic live sets, Wolfgang’s new track featuring Medina on vocals is just what we can expect from the ‘boss’ himself. “Overdose” is a bit more mellow than most Wolfgang electro house tracks, having some beautiful singing from Medina and lower energy drops. However, the song still includes some of those harder elements that we’ve become used to in all of his tracks, as well as some skeptical lyrics that reference overdosing (OD) on drugs. Madeon – Triple J Mix [Free Download]

After Porter Robinson blew our minds with his own 30 minute Triple J mix at the end of last year, another one of the young DJ prodigies, Madeon, has returned with an impressive 46 track mix in only 33 minutes using nothing more then two Ableton Launchpads and a midi controller. The talent this kid has is unreal and can only be realized by clicking the play button below and listening to the magic he creates. Madeon describes his own mix as, “Asnapshot of the music that’s been exciting me as a DJ recently, ranging from electro to disco-ish stuff.” The spectrum of music of which he speaks so modestly is huge as he pulls tracks from The M Machine, Audien, Zedd, Autoerotique, Kill the Noise, Wolfgang Gartner, Justice,Lemitre, and, of course, his own arsenal of music. This mix will prove to those skeptical of DJing that it is in fact an art that takes a particular creative mind to master. Wolfgang Gartner’s “Anaconda” his newest release on Ultra Music is a synth masterpiece; from the dirty, screeching wails to the bouncy, euphoric chords, Gartner has made a track that keeps on giving in the melodic department (and no doubt, the great punchy drum track doesn’t leave the rhythm section lacking either). The track definitely contains electro elements throughout, but it has a wonderful progression that draws in elements of various other house styles as well. After circulating in the game for the past few years and producing up and down every genre, Butch Clancy has finally found his niche with trap music. Butch has always been an elite producer but trap music was his calling. It was the perfect way for him to implement his beautiful melodies with ripening bass to all be overpowered by a booming 808. With his rising success and noted high energy live set, he kept this track a secret for him to only play out live. With too much positive reaction and constant fan demand, Butch couldnt keep this track to himself any longer.His rework of Wolfgang Gartner’s “Shrunken Heads” is unconventional and much of its swagger can be attested to Clancy’s willingness to be unique. Heavy bass, high pitched bleeps, and meticulousdrum linesall contribute to the tracks overall quality. The release date has yet to be disclosed but check back soon for the official date!
