Santa Barbara local Clark Kent (Tal Richards) has been receiving a lot of attention for his onslaught of primarily dubstep remixes over the past couple months, and his most recent remix of ‘Feel Me’ by The Two Friends featuring Priyanka AtreyaFeel is no different. Tal has a unique fashion in which he blends deep bass, subtle piano undertones, and soulful singing to create bangers that are much more than just a pounding in your eardrums. With a style that he improves and develops with every release, Clark Kent is an artist to watch out for in 2013.

Wobble Wednesday: Brown & Gammon – Rock Da Beats (Original Mix)

With DJ aliases ranging all over the place, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with how many people are actually in the DJ “group”. With a name like Brown & Gammon, you’d think that that it would be two DJ’s; Brown and Gammon, right? This statement is completely false and sometimes it’s hard to imagine that just one man can come up with the ideas and compilations that B & G has released. Whether it be trumpets, 80′s synthesizers, or samples dating back to the 20′s; when you see Brown & Gammon has released a new song, you never know what to expect. This time is no different as we have the release of his newest original mix, “Rock Da Beats”. This track starts off with a spooky build up that immediately simmers down into an extremely peaceful and relaxing hook. It doesn’t take long for the relaxation to deteriorate and for Brown & Gammon to enforce the grime. As soon as this song hits, you can distinctly hear Brown & Gammon’s UK Dubstep roots as he incorporates some very intricate wisps and hard slamming bass that are notorious of Circus Records’ label-mates. Make sure to snag this song off Beatport and make the best of your Wobble Wednesday!

Wobble Wednesday: Bingo Players – Rattle (Candyland Remix)

Bingo Players’ original house anthem, ‘Rattle’, leaves no room for criticism, but Candyland’s deep dubstep remix to the track gives the perfect amount of grime for our most popular weekly, Wobble Wednesday. This particular remix won the ‘Beatport vs Ableton Rattle Remix Contest’, and has just been officially released on Hysteria records. Although we posted this track back in February when it was a potential contestant, I had to post it again once I finally heard the full mix.

Wobble Wednesday: Blake Miller – Baybe Food EP

LA based producer, Blake Miller, has just released his first EP titled Baybe Food on Cold Blank’s own record label, Burn The Fire. The EP’s interesting name says wonders about his comical personality and unique style. One can easily hear his eccentricity through his multiple genres of production, of which this EP contains the insane wobbles of heavy dubstep and the groovier beats of nu disco. Below are previews to his two new songs, but don’t forget to purchase the whole tracks on Beatport.

Wobble Wednesday: Arent & Raxell – A137RPD (Original Mix + Remixes)

Raxwell & Arent’s brand new collaboration on Royal One Records titled, ‘A137RPD’, needs no intimate introduction. This track goes harder than any mix I’ve heard in a while. Im usually not the biggest fan of dubstep, but hats off to these two for creating such a beast. Their production quality is not flawed whatsoever, and they manage to keep a distinct melody throughout the organized chaos regarded as the drop. Below is not only the original mix, but I have also included two remixes- the first by Callum B & Linius, and the second from Chrizz Luvly. Enjoy!

Wobble Wednesday: Nero – Must Be The Feeling (Kill The Noise Remix)

Nero’s hit track “Must Be The Feeling” has spawned many remixes of all forms of EDM. From Drum & Bass, to Moombahton, to Dubstep, “Must Be The Feeling” has received the remix treatment quite well, this time from Kill The Noise. Kill The Noise puts his growling bass lines and deep tones to compliment the vocal line, which has almost become a worldwide anthem. The drop does the track well, cutting the vocals back into the mix using chops and short reversed reverbs. Since becoming a regular on Techibeats’ Wobble Wednesdays, Jake never seems to let down for a second such killer and professional music.

Wobble Wednesday: Amy Kuney – Sway (Butch Clancy Remix)

Detroit’s Butch Clancy has been blowing speakers with his loud and intense wobble and heavy dub beats. Along with this track, his has also remixed other tracks such as Ellie Golding’s ‘Your Song’ and Amy Kuney’s ‘Kiss Me Like You Mean It’, both tracks to definitely check out. He’s definitely making a name for himself in this dubstep industry and he won’t be going anywhere any time soon. For more of his tracks, check his SoundCloud.
