Diplo & Skrillex Join Forces Creating Supergroup – ‘Jack U’

Move over Boys Noize, it looks like Dog Blood has some new competition. It appears as if the wonderkin we all know as Skrillex has decided to team up with an even bigger co-star, Diplo. The lineup for the annual Mad Decent Block Party has a diverse array of artists all performing on the same stage throughout the summer. Among those prominent artists, however, is Jack U. If you had a dumbfounded look on your face when you came across that name, don’t worry, so did we. A tweet from Diplo a few days ago cleared up any confusion by simply stating “Jack u… Means skrillex+diplo..”. The two will be performing together throughout the duration of the tour and we cant wait to see how their diverse yet compatible styles clash. Next we can only hope that the duo will be hitting the studio together for some serious production time after the tour ends.

With practically every heavy hitter in the industry closing out each night along with a diverse, top of line roster Electric Zoo is shaping up to be a must attend festival for the summer. Ultra Music Festival Official Phase 1 Lineup

Today Ultra Music Festival released the official phase 1 of UMF 15. All the names on the lineup that had surfaced last week are still on this list, but there are some more excellent additions including Disclosure, Rudimental, Major Lazer and Modestep. Ultra absolutely killed it with this lineup, covering a wide array of artists who are at the top of their respective sub genres…and it’s only phase 1.
