Trance Tuesday: Tritonal Airs First Episode of New Radio Show – Tritonia 001

64762_179479638867795_1633896017_nAfter much success of the first 100 episodes of their previous radio show, Air Up There, Tritonal has changed their game a bit with their new radio show titled, Tritonia. Will much change? Who is to say. However, the new name brings on a fresh identity to the hour long, free podcast. Not long ago we witnessed Above & Beyond change from their beloved Trance Around the World podcast to their current Group Therapy Radio, and though the content has carried seamlessly  it provides a new image to such a respected gathering of listeners. We highly recommend subscribing to Tritonia as it follows Chad and Dave around the world, so feel free to use our provided links below to both the tracklist and .mp3 of this epic hour long mix. Cheers!

Tritonal feat. Underdown – Bullet That Saved Me (Original Mix)

bullet

It’s finally here! “Bullet That Saved Me”, the lead single on Tritonal’s latest EP “Metamorphic I”, has been released today through Enhanced Records. The track features the amazing vocal talents of Mark Underdown to compliment the deliciously heavy trance sounds of Dave and Chad. A lovely and mellow beginning builds as the track progresses and trance synths layer upon each other. The bridge is an awesome melody that breaks down into a gnarly trouse drop. I can confidently say that Tritonal has taken charge of American trance, and they have transformed the style into a sound unique to them. Tritonal has flawless production sounds as well as DJing skills, which is as refreshing to find in an electronic duo as Dave and Chad’s consistently upbeat attitudes. “Metamorphic I” is part one of three EPs released through Tritonal throughout this year. “Bullet That Saved Me” is an excellent teaser of the skillful sounds we can look forward to receiving from Tritonal.

Tritonal & Kaeno – Azuca (Topher Jones Remix)

Topher Jones is at it again, my friends! His new remix, released yesterday off Spinnin’ Records, adds quite the electro house touch to Tritonal and Kaeno’s track “Azuca”. With an extremely simple intro you really have no idea what direction the song is headed, but surprises can be good, and this is definitely a good surprise. The dutch sounding bass lead will most definitely be a club and festival favorite to which people will find it impossible not to dance. Check out the stream below and grab it on Beatport today!

Review: Insomniac White Wonderland New Years Eve Gala 2013

From the most upscale production to booking the most innovative talent in the booming electronic music industry, Insomniac Events has narrowed their “experience making” craft down to a science and created memories that will last us party goers a lifetime. Since their Coliseum days, the reigning production company has dust themselves off and never seized to impress us with lineups filled with all-stars of every genre that have us biting the bullet each time ticket sales are announced for the next elaborately themed event.

Since the split of Go Ventures and Insomniac who formally co-hosted the infamous Los Angeles New Years Eve event, Together As One, Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella has sought out new venues and a fresher take on the ultimate New Years Eve Gala and we had the pleasure to attend last Monday evening.

Interview: Tritonal

Tritonal is one of the most powerful DJ duo’s in the game. They started working together back in 2007 and have gone from random newcomers to one of the most exciting and highest energy acts in the dance music scene. Becoming this big, this fast in the dance music industry would go to a lot of people’s heads, but this duo has stayed on point and humble while capturing the hearts and ears of fans all over the world. Chad Cisneros and Dave Reed formed this musical partnership from opposite ends of the United States after meeting online in a sound production forum, out of all places. Within a year of working together, they released their first big hit ‘Piercing Quiet’, which was voted best track by listeners of Armin van Buuren’s ASOT radio show. With their newest release ‘Arc‘ that came out today on Beatport, we thought it would be the perfect time to do an interview with these legends in the making. Check out the interview after the jump! In celebration of the 100h episode of their Air Up There radio show, Austin-based DJ and production duo Tritonal return to their stomping grounds for a special homecoming show at Emo’s East on Saturday, December 8. To accompany them are Super 8 & Tab, Kyau & Albert, Will Holland, and Cristina Soto, the vocalist that has appeared on many of their hit tracks such as “Lifted,” Still With Me,” and “Everafter.” This is a massive lineup of trance and progressive acts that will be sure to provide you with the most euphoric and energetic dance music throughout the night. It’s great that after all the success, the duo can return home for a truly special event where they can perform in front the original Tritonians that were there when it all began. If you’re in the Austin area, this is a show you won’t want to miss.

Fellow Tritonians, if you’re not within driving distance of the show, or you’re strapped for cash, or whatever the case may be, never fear! Tritonal is putting together a special contest to send you and a friend to Austin for this unforgettable show. Ben Gold feat. The Glass Child – Fall With Me (Original Mix)

This 25 year old producer is a favorite among the head honchos of the trance scene. Ben Gold is fully backed by the support of Armin van Buuren, Tritonal, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, and many others. This same support is carried over in his newest release, Fall With Me which is one of Mr. Gold’s first attempts at a vocal track which features Swedish vocalist The Glass Child. Coming off the Garuda imprint, I would like to say that this is Ben Gold’s take on a similar vocal hit Concrete Angel by label mate Gareth Emery. This is a poppy track with trance still imbedded in its roots. The uplifting riffs and The Glass Child’s euphoric vocals pair nicely to bring together a finely produced vocal trance tune.
