With Weekend 1 of Coachella 2012 finally at an end, the world goes back to normal. At least until this weekend that is, where another gaggle of hipsters, industry affiliates, and bros descend upon the polo fields of Indio, California once more for Weekend 2. If looking through your maxed out camera of blurry photos and shaky video isn’t enough to get you through the week, heres our always updating list of artists from Weekend 1. We return this Wobble Wednesday to provide you with artists 61-80 for our Top 100 Dubstep Dj Countdown. Once again Toon Town provides us with another top caliber mix at the 140 bpm range. This week his goal was to provide us with more flow of the songs as opposed to a nonstop high-energy mix. Wobble Wednesday: Top 100 Countdown – #81-100

In honor of Wobble Wednesday we here at Techibeats are bringing you a list of the top 100 Wobble Wednesday DJ’s in the world. This is the first of 6 volumes which will be released weekly during our very own Wobble Wednesday.  The list has been compiled by our very own representative Jared Levidow and DJ Toon Town, which was surveyed amongst the entire Techi team and was based off artist Soundcloud and Twitter followers, Facebook likes, and an overall influence to the Dubstep and Drum and Bass community.  Our list is not compiled of one hit wonders, rather producers who have impacted electronic music in a positive way.  Each post includes a mix created by DJ Toon Town featuring a song from every producer mentioned per week.  Enjoy our first release of the Wobble Wednesday Top 100 Countdown.  Check back next week to see which producers make the list next.

Wobble Wednesday: Toon Town & DJ Zimm Mixes

For this wobble wednesday I wanted to introduce two up and coming dubstep DJ’s from Phoenix, AZ: TOON TOWN (like here) and DJ Zimm.  TOON TOWN is all about style and swagger.  His style is genuine, incorporating hip-hop, drum and bass, dubstep and even a little house; more or less TOON TOWN is all about the BASS.  DJ Zimm loves his wobbles.  Be prepared for the sub-woofers to thump and the car ride to get a little more interesting, DJ Zimm knows how to keep the people excited and the bass pounding.  Enjoy these two mixes for any car ride, party, or workout, you’ll be in for a treat.
