A day before Ultra Music Festival 2012 was slated to kick off, Above and Beyond, with the support of artists on their Anjunabeats label, provided Bayfront Park with the latest session on their Group Therapy tour. Boom Jinx and Andrew Bayer started off the night playing the deep cuts and soothing vibes typical of the Anjunadeep label. Mat Zo then took the stage and started pumping energy into the crowd and played my favorite set of the night. He really took the reigns and got bodies moving, his ‘Kick Out the Levels Motherfucker’, Dada Life Avicii mashup, was superb. Arty came on next and continued in keeping the crowd energized. He played a very familiar set dropping a bunch of huge tracks and mashups from start to finish. He closed with an awesome bootleg of Sun and Moon that was a perfect transition into Above and Beyond.
