Dirty South – Speed Of Life (Album)

Speed-Of-Life1

The legendary Australian producer Dirty South has just released his debut album ‘Speed Of Life’ exclusively on iTunes. With a heavy catalog of amazing productions over the years he has finally achieved the difficult task of completing an album. ‘Speed Of Life’ is a nine track album, each having its own unique sound that come together to paint a perfect picture of the wide range of Dirty South’s production styles and influences. Some tracks have a very big room, emotional and uplifting feel like ‘Super Sounds’, while ‘Sunset’ is a beautiful vocal track that shows his ability to create tracks that are not strictly club focused. ‘Speed Of Life’ is an excellent achievement for Dirty South and he created a truly incredible album. Enjoy!

Dirty South – Live Set From The Palladium

The Australian house music heavy weight Dirty South has recently announced the release of his debut album, ‘Speed Of Life’ which will be out on March 5th. While it might seem like too long to wait for what is surely to be one of the best dance albums of the year, Dirty South has put up a little something to help tide you over until March 5th. He has posted the first hour from his sold out set at the Palladium in Los Angeles last November, so plug in your speakers and turn up the volume. Enjoy!

Northend & Stereotronique – Reverence (Original Mix)

One of my personal favorite up and comers, Stereotronique, has teamed up with Northend to bring this massive, big room banger. “‘Reverence’ combines the signature synth cord progressions of Northend with the raw grit of Stereotronique’s electro bass line formula.” The track also features the subtle yet powerful vocals of Stereotronique’s own Kevin O’Brien. Stereotronique has been known to put out some massive tunes, and has been largely underrated. The original duo, which consisted of Zack Lister and Kevin O’Brien, has since split, leaving Kevin to handle to front end and production while Zack remains active as the general manager. Be on the lookout for this track in a lot of big sets this year.

John Dahlback – Embrace Me (Dirty South Remix)

Dirty South is back with another amazing remix of John Dahlback’s ‘Embrace Me’. The Australian producer gives the track a perfect spin with an infectious top line, steady bass line, and a massive chord progression that perfectly compliment the original vocals. This track is a must have for any house fans. Enjoy!

Dirty South – Creamfields Australia 2012 After Movie

Here we have a recap of Creamfields Australia from the native Australian, Dirty South. The video recaps shows in Melborne and Sidney, as well as some footage of Dirty South in his studio with Alesso in between gigs. Alesso is actually present throughout the entire movie, which clears up any confusion about their often twitter bickering and jokes about each others mothers and sisters. Enjoy!

Michael Brun & Special Features – Synergy (Original Mix)

Michael Brun hit the charts fast and put Dirty South’s label, Phazing, even more on the map. He recently released the huge hit “Rise”, in which Dirty South did an amazing edit that we featured here. Today we have the full release of “Synergy”, of course released on Phazing as well. This is a great collaboration of Brun and Special Features, showing the unique progressive styles of both. This one is sure to be a hit in the clubs and upcoming festivals. Enjoy!

Dirty South – Walking Alone (Stereotronique Remix)

Stereotronique has once again created another huge remix of a classic track and it hasn’t even been two weeks since their remix of “Teenage Crime” was released. The remix features an awesome vocal breakdown that leads into a massive drop with a grimy complextro chorus. At 3:16, the tempo dramatically shifts into a dubstep bridge before going right back into the original chorus. Overall this is a well made remix and we can expect to see a lot of good things from the Canadian natives in the near future. Make sure to pick up a copy of the track for FREE at the artist’s Soundcloud. Turn your speakers up and enjoy!
