Henrix feat. Roland Clark – Rock This Dream (Original Mix)

7177516-1

This year Henrix has really been making a name for himself as one of the most promising up and coming producers, with a massive release on Size Records he has just released another massive tune that was a huge hit during Miami Music Week. ‘Rock This Dream’ is a massive electro track that has a total rave feel, but this track really gets it’s power from the powerful vocal break from Roland Clark.

Example – Perfect Replacement (R3hab & Hard Rock Sofa Remix) [Preview]

Example. R3hab. Hard Rock Sofa. There’s just no going wrong with that mix of artists. “Perfect Replacement” was remixed by duo Hard Rock Sofa, who have had a killer year, and R3hab who is no stranger to remixing fire tracks. The remixers were able to add a nice fatter electro sound compared to the pretty simple (but great) original track. With exciting buildups, hard drops and killer sounds this is definitely a track to watch out for. Cheers!

The Rolling Stones – Doom and Gloom (Benny Benassi Remix) [Preview]

This past weekend Pete Tong aired the world premiere of Benny Benassi’s remix of The Rolling Stones’ latest single, “Doom and Gloom.” It appears The Rolling Stones have still got it as Pete Tong praised Mick Jagger and the rest of the band on their stellar performance in front of 20,000 screaming fans at the London O2 Arena last week. Don’t worry if you weren’t there in London to witness it because Benny Benassi has given the rest of us a reason to scream with his jaw dropping electro take on “Doom and Gloom.” Fans of The Rolling Stones will recognize Keith Richard’s quintissential guitar rifts as well as Mick Jaggar’s distinguishable vocals from the original, while fans of Benny Benassi will revel to the distinguishable high energy additions of his electro bass, stabbing synths, and hard hitting beats. Doom and Gloom (Benny Benassi Remix) brings together two completely different musical legends to create one fantastic hybrid of a song of which everyone can appreciate. This track will be available for download on December 9th on iTunes so enjoy it on here until then!

Azzido Da Bass – Rawk (Official Music Video)

Azzido Da Bass – Rawk (Original Mix) | Beatport

The first time I heard this song was in my car during Fedde Le Grand’s radio show. God bless satellite radio. I was way too excited to shazaam it or record it, but luckily Bob Sinclar made my life super easy by naming the track a month later. The video is decent, but the music is FIRE. With a super clean bass riff, I guarantee you this track will get the crowd moving. Everybody let’s rawk this shit, c’mon.

Flashback Friday: Bob Marley & The Wailers – 400 Years (Jimpster Remix)

Not only is today’s track a flashback for the Bob Marley & The Wailers’ “400 Years”, but also for this amazing remix Jimpster did of the track back in 2007. These days you often hear remixes of Bob Marley tracks that either aren’t done so well, or are never under the house genre. However, with deep house/minimal legend Jimpster on remix duties, you know it is going to be something like you’ve never heard before. His remix of “400 Years” is a very minimal dub track that has a groovy reggae bassline alongside a house beat. Incorporating some original elements such as percussion drums, horns, and vocal samples, this track has just the right amount of original flavor in it to keep you interested. Give this classic a listen and enjoy!

Caspa & Rusko – Rock Bottom (Original Mix)

Wipe off those hangovers and rise and shine techi fans, the weather is cooling down and it’s a beautiful day. For many cities it is the wonderful weekend of Oktoberfest & this is the absolute hangover jam to motivate you back on your feet. With its calming melody, it’s very easy to close your eyes and get lost in this easy to follow beat. This track is my ultimate soother jam and puts me at complete peace. Caspa & Rusko delivered this gem back in 2009 during the dubstep revolution that was taking place in the UK to display a much softer side of the 140 bpm tempo. Swoop this off of Beatport and let this be the track to set the tone for your much needed Fall weekend.

Wobble Wednesday: Brown & Gammon – Rock Da Beats (Original Mix)

With DJ aliases ranging all over the place, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with how many people are actually in the DJ “group”. With a name like Brown & Gammon, you’d think that that it would be two DJ’s; Brown and Gammon, right? This statement is completely false and sometimes it’s hard to imagine that just one man can come up with the ideas and compilations that B & G has released. Whether it be trumpets, 80′s synthesizers, or samples dating back to the 20′s; when you see Brown & Gammon has released a new song, you never know what to expect. This time is no different as we have the release of his newest original mix, “Rock Da Beats”. This track starts off with a spooky build up that immediately simmers down into an extremely peaceful and relaxing hook. It doesn’t take long for the relaxation to deteriorate and for Brown & Gammon to enforce the grime. As soon as this song hits, you can distinctly hear Brown & Gammon’s UK Dubstep roots as he incorporates some very intricate wisps and hard slamming bass that are notorious of Circus Records’ label-mates. Make sure to snag this song off Beatport and make the best of your Wobble Wednesday!

His latest remix, which is set to be released soon, sounds absolutely insane. A huge build leads into a sporadic electro/techno bassline sure to make your head spin. No release date as of yet, but we will keep you posted.
