Fresh off Bad Life Records comes Casino Gold’s new EP, Ricochet. The EP features two tracks, “Ricochet” and “Patterns”, both of which are brilliantly drenched with an acid-wash and that Bad Life feel. While “Patterns” seems more reminiscent of the days when techno and acid were nothing but a new genre, “Ricochet” bangs out with that contemporary techno vibe, with less variation in melody but more diverse rhythmic patterns and layering. All in all, this is a solid EP and a must for any techno lover.

MARTEL – Ricochet (Laidback Luke Remix) [Free Download]

Laidback Luke seems to never produce anything short of gold, and his brand new remix to MARTEL’s ‘Ricochet’ is no derivation from his impeccable reputation. The track provides a very fun melody and eventually builds into a classic Laidback Luke drop around the 2:05 mark. With heavy bass, this track proves nothing less than absolutely crazy. Martel – Ricochet (Laidback Luke Remix) [Preview]

The man himself is back yet again with another massive remix, this time putting his spin on Martel’s “Ricochet.” Laidback Luke is well known for his ability to transform nearly any track into a hard-hitting dance masterpiece and this is no exception. Utilizing the original record’s catchy vocals and melody, LL builds the track up into a huge drop with an all-to-familiar big room house sound.
