New Yorkers, listen up! Hurricane Sandy has left many feeling dispirited, but Swedish House Mafia is bringing some positive vibes to a place that could truly use them. This legendary trio will be playing a one-of-a-kind event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on February 28th; the interesting setting along with the mandatory black ties and ball gowns dress code (and yes, it will be enforced) ensures that the Black Tie Rave will be among the most unique EDM events of the year. The event is only for those that are 21+, and tickets will be sold in three separate auctions on Ticketmaster, the first beginning this Friday at 10AM EST. Make sure to check it out; this will not only be one of the group’s last performances before they play their final show at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, but you’ll be raving for the good of mankind – with all ticket sales going towards Hurricane Sandy relief efforts!
