Paris Hilton Signs To Cash Money Records, Set To Release House Album

Paris-hilton-dj-set-6-242012

Just when we thought the worst news had passed, it just keeps coming. Last year Paris Hilton began on her quest to do whatever she happens to think DJing is, while making a complete fool out of herself and everyone involved along the way. I didn’t think it was possible but apparently there are people out there who think that endorsing the delusional diva in her DJing endeavors.

Birdman has decided to sign Paris to his Cash Money Records along with Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne and Drake. When speaking on the recent deal Paris indicated that she will be releasing a house album on the label, saying “This is a lot different than my first album, it’s really going to be house music.” While I hope that someone with any shred of moral fiber puts the red light on this album, what Paris Hilton thinks house music really is would surely be comical.

Justice – Access All Arenas (Album)

The French electronic duo from the house of Ed Banger Records has kept us waiting long enough for their live album and at last it’s here to add to our collections. Justice, composed of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have contributed greatly to the rise of the electronic music scene, pushing the envelope with their rock star lifestyle and influenced beats in arenas across the globe. Released with 14 tracks, and every track that an unfamiliar fan would ever need to get acquainted with their boundary breaking sound, the album echoes with cries of fans in the audience that have you reminiscing of their white lit up cross blinding you in front row. The album was recorded in France at the Arena of Nimes last July and although it’s been almost a year since then, their sound still creates chills from start to finish.

Dave Angel – Harlequin (Original Mix)

7306336

Any time I see a release from Bedrock, I know it’s going to be a good listen for my ears thanks to label boss John Digweed. They really hit a home run with this new one from techno legend Dave Angel, titled “Harlequin”. With over 30 years of production experience, Dave really shows that he can get a crowd moving with this groove. “Harlequin” has a very summery vibe to it with the deep chords that are heard throughout the track, keeping it fresh with a funky tech house vibe that you can’t get enough of. Give this one a listen and enjoy!

Today we have brand new remix from Ballast, a Phoenix based up and coming producer who we hav been keeping our eye on lately. Doctor Jeep & Obey City’s track, ‘Dem Hoes’, is the track that Ballast chose to remix and he gives it a grooving, dirty, tech vibe to it with the bassline providing the driving force behind the track. If you aren’t already following Ballast I suggest you check out his tunes.

Sebjak & Marcus Schossow – Liceu (Original Mix)

Steve Angello has definitely kept busy since the break up of the Swedish House Mafia and it seems that he has really amplified the focus on his label, Size Records, which just celebrated it’s tenth anniversary and 100 releases. For this record Sebjak and Marcus Schossow give us a groove driven, horn heavy house track. This track isn’t a huge hands in the air big room track, but it definitely has some punch behind it with beat driven tech vibes. Enjoy!

Erdi Irmak & Caner Seval – Amazonian River (Original Mix)

7228074

Erdi Irmak and Caner Seval’s new track off Lowbit Records, “Amazonian River”, is one of those banging tunes you get really excited about when you find it because it’s so good every time you listen to it. When I came across this tune, I couldn’t help myself to start grooving in my seat because it just set off so well in my ears. “Amazonian River” is some of the deepest progressive house I’ve heard out there, similar to the style of Guy J where it’s almost techno, but not quite. In full, it is a progressive track but has many techno elements such as that deep, groovy bassline that you can’t get enough of, and an airy, beautifully crafted breakdown to build up the energy for the next drop. I highly suggest listening to this one with some nice speakers/subwoofer and support the music via the Beatport link below if you like it! Enjoy!

Fiasko Daniels – The EP

7257647

Born with Synesthesia, Joey “Fiasko” Daniels has always had an unusually deep connection to music. An Insomniac Discovery Project winner in 2012, the star of critically accalimed Samsung Europe Commercial “Unleash Your Fingers: Next Generation”, Fiasko has very quickly climbed his way into the international spotlight. Having already shared the stage with noteworthy acts such as Zomboy, Le Castle Vania, Kill Paris, Candyland AndDrop!, Richie Hawtin, Nasty Nasty and super trio Krewella it was no surprise when Techibeats Records came knocking to sign him . Now, Fiasko Daniels is pleased to releases his debut EP appropriately titled “The EP”. Combining formant-filter vowel work, progressive builds and heavy drums, Fiasko plans on standing out from the rest, by making his music “speak”.
