Seattle, Washington felt the luck of the Irish as they raged at Lucky 2013, an early St. Patrick’s Day celebration courtesy of USC Events. With stages such as End of the Rainbow and Leprechaun’s Lair, WaMu Theatre was transformed into a green and gold wonderland of The Emerald Isle, lights, and great music. USC even rolled in a field of real grass to create the Clover Field; a realm of relaxation complete with see-saws and park benches. This year, trance and progressive fans were rewarded with a stage dedicated to the genres. The End of the Rainbow stage featured artists such as Seven Lions, Nadia Ali, and BT, who captivated the audience with beautiful melodies and pulsing synths late into the night. This big room electro house masterpiece, titled “Do It”, has already gained lots of recognition from big name DJs such as David Guetta, Thomas Gold, Swanky Tunes, Sander van Doorn, Dada Life, and more. This track was written to be in sync with the production of the touring festival, guaranteed to reach thousands of people each show. Much to my surprise, R3hab’s brand new remix to Bruno Mars’ hit, ‘Locked Out Of Heaven’, is no high energy electro/chainsaw madness. Instead, we are given an extremely unique new addition to his arsenal consisting of some break beats, dubstep wobbles, and some serious trap influence. R3hab says he was “playing around with some new sounds”, so as of right now there is no release date or download available.
