This original mix definitely falls on the more groove-driven variant of the electro house genre, but that doesn’t take away from the its undeniable power. The melodic break and build use heavy synth leads to establish a big-room sound until the drop hits you like a kick in the teeth. Probe – Time Machine (Original Mix)

Veteran producer Miles Dyson has done an amazing job with his Plasmapool label. I personally think it is one of the most underrated imprints out there. The German label boasts rising young talents Mord Fustang, Virtu, Joe Garston, and Probe to name a few. Most notably, all of these artists have one thing in common, they make damn good electro house. Estonian producer Probe is coming off two hot releases in “Ultimate” and “Baila”, which were both extensively featured on podcasts and radio-shows receiving accolades from the likes of Tiesto and Morgan Page. Now with the release of his newest single, “Time Machine”, Probe looks like he’s not going to be cooling off anytime soon. This is another great electro tune that features a colorful melody, which takes you into an escalating buildup and into a drop that transitions you into Probe’s already iconic synths. If the Plasmapool label continues to churn out these quality productions, I don’t see how it won’t be one of the top labels of 2012.

Mord Fustang – Welcome To The Future EP

The young electro producer from Estonia has just given us his ‘Welcome To The Future’ EP. Mord Fustang exploded onto the scene out of no where last year with multiple singles reaching the Beatport number one spot. He has developed a very melodic style of electro that intertwines complex, euphoric leads with glitchy electro breaks. This EP shows that Mord is truly here to stay.
