W&W – Thunder (Official Teaser) | Stream Only

After tons of speculation, we’re finally blessed with the heavy, official teaser to W&W’s brand new track, ‘Thunder’. Releasing to Beatport on May 20th, we’re excited to see this banger explode during festival season. Those attending EDC Las Vegas, keep your ears open for this track, as we predict its support from top notch artists will only grow. Check back in a couple weeks for the official release.

Sub Focus & Alex Clare – Endorphins (Official Music Video)

The catchy Sub Focus track “Endorphins” is officially a music video! You might have heard the original or maybe the Tommy trash remix, but no one can deny that Alex Clare’s voice sounds like he’s saving lives all over the world. The video features a SWAT-like team that doesn’t want people listening to music, so they destroy their records and music players, which literally sounds like the worst time imaginable. How would you, Techi readers, feel  if the government told you that you couldn’t listen to music anymore? Let us know and enjoy the video!

Discopolis – Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion) (Axwell Radio Edit) [Official Music Video]

Getting ready for it’s release next Monday, the official music video of Axwell’s Radio Edit of “Falling” by Discopolis has been released. As a multi-genre music lover myself, I fell in love with this song the second I heard it. The vibes and musical composition of “Falling” really hit it off for me, giving off a similar feeling to the electronic-alternative style of M83. It’s great to see that Axwell is giving house music a rest and executing production in this realm flawlessly. I hope some of his fans can make this move as well and branch out to some different music that is nothing but amazing. Enjoy!

Wolfgang Gartner feat. Medina – Overdose (Extended Club Mix)

7097401

The latest release off Ultra Records is from none other than Wolfgang Gartner. Known for his complextro tracks and epic live sets, Wolfgang’s new track featuring Medina on vocals is just what we can expect from the ‘boss’ himself. “Overdose” is a bit more mellow than most Wolfgang electro house tracks, having some beautiful singing from Medina and lower energy drops. However, the song still includes some of those harder elements that we’ve become used to in all of his tracks, as well as some skeptical lyrics that reference overdosing (OD) on drugs. Regardless, we love this track and we suggest for you all to give it a listen and support this amazing artist by grabbing it on Beatport below!

Mat Zo & Porter Robinson – Easy (Official Music Video)

Mat Zo and Porter Robinson made waves with their incredible collaboration ‘Easy’. The euphoric and melodic anthem finally has an equally unique and uplifting music video to accompany the track. An anime themed video featuring a girl who escapes a busy city to a more peaceful and tranquil place provides the perfect backdrop for this incredible track.

Crossways, Dzeko & Torres – Togi (Original Mix)

Monstercat’s newest release, “Togi,” comes from Canadian duo Dzeko & Torres and up and comer Crossways. The track has gained support from huge names such as David Guetta, Jus Jack, Paul Oakenfold, and many others. The release is a hard hitting progressive track, sampling Led Zepplin’s “Immigrant,” which only leads into a bass filled drop. Check out the music video for the track HERE, or take a listen to the stream below! Cheers!

MOX TV Online Music Video Channel

MOX TV is a brand new music video channel that lets you get the coverage on events and artists that you want to see. MOX TV is officially being released during Ultra Music Festival and the Winter Music Conference. With so many acts and so little time to see them, MOX TV is being released just when we need it. Now none of us will need to be rushing between stages and arguing with our buddies about which artists we want to see more.

MOX TV will also be hosting the MOX Bus—a dance party on wheels, complete with an open bar and world-class DJ crews. The bus can be seen cruising through the streets of South Beach, Downtown, and more. The MOX Bus will also be hosting daily takeovers from Revealed, Dirtybird, Anjunabeats, 1605 Music Therapy, and SMOG.

Carter Laren, Co-Founder of MOX TV has said, “We’ve chosen to work with these and other artists featured on MOX because we believe they represent the future of music, and we’ve chosen to launch in Miami during Ultra and WMC because of the sheer volume of talent and unbridled fan enthusiasm you experience when you’re there. Like most people in Miami that week, we won’t be sleeping much.” What differentiates MOX from other media outlets, Laren emphasizes, is its television-style presentation. “We’re not just another a dressed-up blog. I like to say that we’re what MTV would be if they launched in 2013. And if they played music.”

This is the next big thing in coverage of the music we all love. As their motto goes, this is what music looks like. You can check out the beta @ http://mox.tv/

New Daft Punk Album Activity

601392_10151470370255673_586675859_n

Today marks history for all Daft Punk fans. The picture above was uploaded to www.daftpunk.com and their Facebook page. This is some of the first activity we have seen from Daft Punk since their extended hiatus from music, with the exception of the TRON soundtrack in 2010. This picture not only proves that Daft Punk is gearing up to announce an official date for their upcoming album but confirms that the rumors of their switch to Sony owned Columbia Records to be true. This is a new step for Daft as it is the first record they have come out with that won’t be published by Virgin Records which signed Daft Punk in 1996. Overall Daft Punk has still kept us in the dark about when the album is due to come out or when a possible tour may be announced, but with activity like this we can’t help but expect that this will all come in due time and needless to say many are excited over it.
