Breaking News: Diplo & 20th Century Fox To Make EDM Movie

If you follow Diplo on Facebook, Twitter or any other social media site, you constantly remain entertained from the crazy things he has to say or post. Now, imagine sitting in a movie theatre for two hours and watching a whole film created by the funny-man. It’s safe to say you will most definitely be entertained. Deadline has reported that this wild dream of being able to watch something Diplo created in a movie theatre has actually come true. The DJ, producer, and now executive producer, is teaming up with 20th Century Fox to make a film revolving around EDM and its culture. The online magazine describes it as “8 Mile meets Project X,” with the plot of three teens trying to get into Diplo’s Electronic Music Festival. Sounds intriguing. With writers, producers and a director set, it seems this film is on its way to being made. What do you guys think? Is the world ready for an EDM movie?

Where does one begin when speaking about the influence that Giorgio Moroder has had on dance music? His innovative techniques lead him to do things that others have never even considered. He was one of the first to ever produce dance music with an analog synthesizer and thus began to build a reputation for his quality work. Soon his legendary reputation caught up to him as he became a highly touted producer in the 70′s, making hits for a number of stars including Donna Summer. In this video, the legend speaks about his accomplishments and gives his take on Daft Punk. Watch as Giorgio Moroder praises the legendary duo in anticipation of their upcoming album release – Random Access Memories.

This year, Sensation Czech Republic was definitely an event for the books due to its insane acts and unbelievable theatrics. Their post event movie similarly proved itself unique as it follows through with the answer to a widely spread question posted all over Youtube- who was that beautiful girl in the last movie? Well, they found her. Her name is Karolina, and this brand new clip illustrates her time seeing some of the best DJs in the world combined with the surreality of over the top production quality.
