RA Podcast 319: James Zabiela

James Zabiela, arguably the king of CDJ’s and effects (he was brought on by Pioneer to help design the Pioneer CDJ-2000′s and DJM-900 Nexus) graces us with what is sure to be one of the best mixes of the year presented by Resident Advisor.  You can tell that James carefully put this one together with tons of love in order to deliver a unique listening experience from start to finish. With a variety of styles ranging from downtempo, dubstep, UK bass, house, techno and electronica you will be constantly surprised by the stellar track selection that is interspersed with film and tv quotes amongst the amazing mix routines he is known for. Those who have heard his “Moon” themed 2010 Essential Mix know the quality to be expected (As a bonus I have embedded that mix below).
