Ben Howard – Promise (Stereotronique Radio Remix) [Free Download]

One of my favorite up and coming producers, Stereotronique, has recently released this remix of Ben Howard’s “Promise” onto their Soundcloud page. The track features a highly melodic verse layered with Ben Howard’s soothing vocals before building into a very progressive synth-type chorus. A far cry from their usual electro house sound, this track is absolutely incredible and truly demonstrates the Canadian duo’s skill in the studio. Enjoy!

Adrian Lux feat. Dante – Burning (Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl Remix) [Preview]

Following the massive release of ‘In My Mind’, Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl team up again to remix Adrian Lux’s track of his latest album ‘Burning’. With complex leads and a soft top line, over an echoing kick and a massive chord progression these two give the track an amazing big room house remix. The track is set to release June 19th.

I Love This City SF: Official Recap

There are few things more exciting than experiencing the first year of a new music festival. Although past experiences may draw thousands of people, including myself, back to major events such as Coachella and EDC, the sheer adventure of uncharted festival territory may be equally as enthralling. This was the first year for the twin festival, “I Love This City,” being hosted in both San Francisco and San Diego, and I had the opportunity to attend the SF event over the past weekend. More pictures and a breakdown of the weekend after the jump. [Read more...]

Adrian Lux Feat. Lune – Fire

I had the opportunity to catch Adrian Lux’s show last week at Ruby Skye in San Francisco and he killed it. The young Swedish producer had a great stage presence and made it known to everyone in the building he was ready to party. His newest single ‘Fire’ stays true to his unique amazing sound as he continues to rise in popularity.

Up and Comers: Stereotronique

The duo that exists behind Stereotronique’s intricate electro sound consists of Kevin O’Brien and Lane Theriault, two co-workers from Toronto, Canada who began producing together after a little Rockband session at home. Although the two released their first remix merely one year ago, their recent remix of “Teenage Crime” has received wide support on several music blogs as well as from Adrian Lux himself. It is not often that new producers are able to create high quality remixes while still retaining some essence of originality. The consistency of their production skill shows in their newest remix of Dirty South’s “Walking Alone” and is proof that we can expect a lot of big things from Stereotronique in the near future. I was recently able to interview the two and here is what they had to say:
