DJ Mag just leaked out their Top 10 list from the DJ Mag Poll for the Top 100 DJs. As many know, this is a huge contest and achievement for artists around the world trying to make the cut each year. The results that have been leaked are similar to those of the past, but include some new comers that haven’t been this high before in the poll. The Decadence 2012 New Year’s Eve one-day festival will be taking place at the Colorado Convention Center on December 31st, 2012. We are proud to announce the full, headlining lineup, which includes some of world’s top DJs performing all in one night. Some of the big artists to expect are ATB, Wolfgang Gartner, Zeds Dead, Mimosa, Krewella, Paul Basic, Rudee, Ecotek, and Fury. The man, the myth, the legend, the one they call Pretty Lights, has just blessed us with another free download and massive tune. Unfortunately, this song was prematurely leaked through many sites and sac-religiously available for sale. However, since Smith is such a stand up guy, he has made this song available for free download because it has never been his intention to sell any specific tracks off of a record. This masterpiece entitled, “So Bright”, is nothing less than what we have come to expect from Smith, and that is pure genius. The track features deep glitches and synths throughout to be accompanied by that hard-hitting Pretty Lights sound we’ve all come to love. What makes this track unique is Smith used an array of samples which he self-composed using vinyl pressings. With the release of this single, we also gained the news that Pretty Lights is in the midst of working on a new album. Upon the release of the album, a documentary will be available that showcases Smith’s vigorous labor process he takes when creating the music we all have become so fond of. One of Arty’s many known ID tracks, “When I See You” was just played over on Sebastian Ingrosso’s Refune Radio show this past weekend, and man is it a beautiful one. It has a very nice piano melody throughout that has a happy mood, making the track a crowd pleaser wherever it is heard. We’ll keep you posted on the official release info, enjoy!
Breaking news has hit that Skrillex will be working with none other than Disney for an animated film titled “Wreck-It Ralph”, featuring the lives of arcade game characters. It seems like a weird combination of the insane, bass heavy Skrillex production style and the happy, child-oriented films of Disney…however Skrillex said to not “expect any dancefloor bangers” in the film. As funny as it would be seeing some animated Disney characters get down to some Skrillex dubstep, I think we’ll have to wait another time for that to happen.

You probably know the Manufactured Superstars as the American house music duo who are known for their high energy sets, club bangers, and spacesuit attire, but there is a lot more to this duo than you might not know. Bradley Roulier and Shawn Shabo have been two of the most influential people in the electronic music industry not only on the decks, but probably even more so away from the turntables. Roulier was a co-founder (and is currently a founding member) and Shabo an original employee (and currently a member) of the seminal music retailer, Beatport.com!
Playing massive festivals like EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) and the best clubs in the world, they always provide a unique, high-energy set.
