Released this weekend, “Looking For Something” has already been making its way to the top on the progressive and electro Beatport charts. The Chicago natives, Bad Boy Bill and DJ Bam Bam, have created a medley of the two genres in this track, and their outcome brings pure bliss. Miss Palmer’s raspy sounding vocals fit perfectly with the track, especially with a full, deep bass layered with her. Check out the new release off Le7els at Beatport today! Enjoy!

Syn Cole – April EP

Syn Cole’s April EP has arrived; not only is it a monumental release for the young Estonian producer, but also leads the way into 2013 as the year’s first release from Avicii’s LE7ELS label. Syn Cole shows that he can handle the pressure well, as his track “April” comes with the beauty and polish of far more experienced players (no doubt aided by some of the experts over at LE7ELS). Within the track you’ll find playful, energetic melodies, lush production, and crunchy electro drops. The progressive mix of “April” is a solid addition to the original mix, providing a take on the track that stays more true to the progressive house style – with a smoother sound and less electro flourishes – and leads into a great, funky drop at the end. Listen to both below and check out the EP on Beatport.

Each of these mixes brings in some deeper sounds causing for a more electro influenced bassline on each respective drop. To finish off all of our provided audio streams, we’re blessed to be given some visuals to the track through an official videoclip from Nicky Romero’s Youtube channel.
