Krewella – Alive (Hardwell Remix)

hardwell - techi

The Chicago-based trio, Krewella, has been making quite an impact on the dance world this year with their unique blend of gorgeous vocals courtesy of Jahan and Yasmine Yousaf with the Rainman’s dubstep, electro house, and drum n’ bass productions. Their single, “Alive,” has hit the top of Billboard’s Dance/Mix Show Chart and Hardwell, the #6 DJ in the world, wanted to keep the momentum of the song alive with his own rendition of the hit. Just the fact that Krewella is catching the attention of heavy hitters such as Hardwell speaks wonders for their quickly rising career over the past year. The remix features Jahan and Yasmine’s easily distinguishable vocals and lyrics, but the familiar song quickly takes a turn towards the signature dutch sound that brought Hardwell to prominence. Euphoric synthesizer chords, stabbing Hardwell synth leads, and a fat bass beat accompany the massive build-up which takes the energy of this song to a new level. Fans of both Hardwell and Krewella will absolutely lose it when they listen to this song as it takes the best from both artists and mashes them both together into a soon to be huge festival banger. If you don’t believe me, then take a listen for yourself and let us know what you guys think. Enjoy!

Gobble Wednesday: Krewella – Come & Get It (Original Mix) [Free Download]

The Chicago trio known as Krewella have been destroying the scene and producing hit after hit over the last five years. If you are unaware of who Krewella is, then you first must know that the trio is compromised of two beautiful sisters and one lucky guy that they call Rain Man. What makes them unique is the fact that they explore a multitude of genres and use the Yousaf sister’s vocals to perfection on top of Rain Man’s exquisite productions. The latest production, “Come & Get It”, which was just released hours ago, is the first glimpse we have at their upcoming Play Harder EP, set to release December 10th. This song opens up extremely poppy and catchy, but don’t let that fool you because it quickly hits into a relentless drum & bass drop. Looped with euphoric synths and the good-feeling vocals of the Yousaf sisters that are accompanied by a smooth hitting drum & bass back beat, “Come & Get It” is the epitome of the trio’s production ability. Definitely scoop this one up and recognize all that is Krewella.

Wobble Wednesday: Krewella – Can’t Control Myself (Protohype Remix) [Free Download]

In fine tradition, Protohype has blessed us with another free download this week that is possibly his best production to date. This massive drumstep remix of Chicago’s native trio, Krewella, is quickly gaining a lot of attention. “Can’t Control Myself” was the showcased electro house track on Krewella’s chart topping, Play Hard EP. Protohype took this electro house anthem and turned it into an absolutely bass filled masterpiece. The track features Krewella’s original synths and beautifully harmonic vocals that mesh perfectly with the high hats, snares and bass line that Protohype flawlessly provides. This production is true evidence of Protohype’s capability to turn a song 360 degrees and orchestrate it into it his own Protostyle. This one has been on repeat for me and I’d highly suggest you click the download link below for ultimate Wobble Wednesday satisfaction.
