Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead – Spring Mix [Free Download]

Spring is in the air once again which means that festival season is that much closer to approaching. I couldn’t think of any better way to celebrate then with a filthy, grimy, and awesome hour mix by Zeds Dead as they showcase their ever improving talents behind the decks. These two guys have blown up in the past two years and I can’t possibly see the momentum they’ve been building slow down any time soon. They are fearless when it comes to their song selection as their transitions from dub-step to hip-hop to electro house to trap seems almost flawless while others will never venture outside of their comfort zone. These two are definitely making a name for themselves and if you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them live yet be sure to catch them as they ride the festival circuit all summer long. Enjoy!

Wobble Wednesday: Hundred Waters – Boreal (Brillz Remix)

The up-and-coming trap producer, Brillz, has been making quite a stir in the scene lately with his remix of Clarity as well as his kick off tour with Kill The Noise. His intense trap sound is unlike many of the other producers in the genre, which can be heard in his versatility as a producer especially in his newest remix of Hundred Waters’ track, “Boreal” off of OWSLA. The song displays Brillz softer side as gentle synthesizer melodies introduce the song and the coherence of the track is not sacrificed as is the case in many trap songs when the drop finally hits. Electro chords, a chill drum beat, and shredding synthesizers make up a tranquil (compared to what we’re used to from Brillz), yet effective drop that will get you moving as well as open your eyes to him as an artist. Madeon – Triple J Mix [Free Download]

After Porter Robinson blew our minds with his own 30 minute Triple J mix at the end of last year, another one of the young DJ prodigies, Madeon, has returned with an impressive 46 track mix in only 33 minutes using nothing more then two Ableton Launchpads and a midi controller. The talent this kid has is unreal and can only be realized by clicking the play button below and listening to the magic he creates. Madeon describes his own mix as, “A�snapshot of the music that’s been exciting me as a DJ recently, ranging from electro to disco-ish stuff.” The spectrum of music of which he speaks so modestly is huge as he pulls tracks from The M Machine, Audien, Zedd, Autoerotique, Kill the Noise, Wolfgang Gartner, Justice,�Lem�itre, and, of course, his own arsenal of music. This mix will prove to those skeptical of DJing that it is in fact an art that takes a particular creative mind to master. Kill The Noise is here and ready to party. Off of KTN's newest EP Black Magic, his hit track "Saturn" could not have the same sound without help from Brillz and Minixx. This song features an attractive smooth vocal intro bringing their listeners to full attention and getting them ready for their bassline drop that is a pleaser. The drops that are straight out of left field get me going the most and this is simply what they did. Coming from the one and only OWSLA label really should be enough said to stop and listen. They do not release anything that is not pure ear candy which is a guarantee. Enjoy!
