Kaskade – Atmosphere [Preview]

Kaskade has been relatively quiet on the production front since the release of his massive “Fire & Ice” album last November, but he is finally coming back with some new tunes. This most recent preview for his upcoming track, “Atmosphere”, has already racked up over 70,000 hits on his Soundcloud in just one day. The track stands true to Kaskade’s production style with emotional vocals and uplifting synth patterns. This is another feel-good track with the quality we have come to expect from Kaskade. Kaskade – It’s You It’s Me Redux Set [Free Download]

The set was initially three hours, but was edited down to the best 100 minutes and offered as a free download. The set features Redux version tracks from his Fire and Ice album, along with some older releases such as the classic “4 am.” This set features the best of Kaskade, and only makes listeners want more of the Californian production love. Kaskade Mistakenly Put On EDC Lineup

It seems as though Kaskade is not set to headline EDC. Due to a possible graphic designing error, Kaskade revealed on Twitter the unfortunate news. In a stream of tweets Kaskade had written, “I just saw the EDC Las Vegas announcement and there has been a mistake as I am not playing the festival this year. Not sure how that happened – a lot of artists in the mix with a huge festival like that and looks like something got mixed up. Maybe the graphics guy used lasts years flyer as a template and my name was on there… honestly not sure how that happened.” While disappointing that one of our favorite DJs won’t be making an appearance at the large scale music festival, he is, however, playing at the Marquee on Saturday night of the weekend.

Network – Somebody [Preview]

The United Kingdom seems to be quite the hotspot for young, up and coming house producers nowadays. With the sudden revival of 90s house, producers across the globe including Skream and Kaskade are hopping back into the deep house grooves. One of the more notable artists I have come across though is Network. Otherwise known as Oli Johns, Network is a 17 year old producer with a knack for keeping my ears in a vice. His newest track, titled “Somebody” is a simple tune with a catchy melody and funky percussion. I am loving this one. Keep it up Oli. We will keep you all posted if he decides to release it.

Kaskade Goes Back To His Roots With It’s You, It’s Me Redux Tour

Over the years Kaskade has made a name for himself as one of the most in demand DJ’s in the world. Last summer Kaskade embarked on a large venue ‘Freaks Of Nature’ tour and was the first ever EDM artist to sell out the Staple Center in LA. While lately he has become accustomed to playing in front of huge crowds, he just announced that he will be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his album ‘It’s Me, It’s You’ with a 9 stop, small venue tour. Ryan stated that the venues will be around 200-300 capacity and he will be playing deeper sets as he returns to his roots for these shows. Fleetwood Mac – Everywhere (Late Night Alumni Cover) [Preview]

Late Night Alumni has just done a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere”. For those you who do not know who Late Night Alumni are, they are Kaskade’s side project/band. The lead singer, whom has collaborated on some of Kaskade’s biggest hits like “Dynasty”, “I Remember” and “Move For Me”, gives us her spin on Fleetwood Mac’s original with her airy vocals and soft tone. In addition,  I can hear Kaskade’s old school house influence all over this cover with his classic kit and keyboard skills. This little piece is for your weekend when you need a minute. Well fans, the first weekend of Ultra Music Festival in Miami has come to a close and wow was it an amazing one. I sure hope some of you were either there for the amazing experience or streaming in from your computer via Ultra’s YouTube channel UMFTV. With some of the world’s biggest DJs playing sets throughout the day at different times and stages, it was hard to catch everyone you wanted to see as most festivals go. The wonderful thing about our post here is we have a chance for you to relive the experience through you ears, with some of our favorites from the first weekend. We apologize that some of these aren’t the full sets, but we will update them throughout the week once we get our hands on any full recordings as they arise. Ultra Music Festival 2013 Compilation [Preview]

Ultra Music will be releasing an incredible compilation featuring the biggest and best tracks from a wide range of incredible EDM artists. The compilation album will feature tracks from David Guetta, Above & Beyond, Calvin Harris, Avicii, Afrojack, Deadmau5, Tiesto and many more. The album features several Ultra Music Festival Anthems including the previously released ‘United’ by Tiesto, Quintino and Alvaro and ‘Air Guitar’ by Afrojack as well as the unreleased ‘UMF’ by Avicii. The digital version is set to release on March 19th and the physical copy on April 2nd so be sure to check back then. You can check out the track like below.

Once again Kaskade has given us another awesome mashup with Inpetto’s ‘No More Serious Faces’ and his classic track ‘All That You Give’. However unlike the usual Kaskade Mashup Mondays this mashup came with a very exciting summer announcement for Kaskade. He announced his ‘Summer Lovin’ residency at the Marquee Nightclub and Dayclub in Las Vegas this summer where he will playing 24 shows there this. You can pick up your tickets here.
