As the trapedemic continues, we are going to see an abundance of remixes to songs we’ve grown up with and cherished. RL Grime, who took Kanye West’s track “Mercy” and transformed it into one of the more notable trap remixes has just gone loco and done it again, this time revamping the 2002 Benny Bennassi classic, “Satisfaction”. If you were at HARD Day of the Dead, you’ve definitely already heard this song as both Diplo & Bauuer showcased it in their 808 filled sets. This remix is on point with a heavy hitting bass and an extremely bouncy drop to coincide. No Doubt – Settle Down (Baauer Remix)

Baauer is an up and coming producer who has been making a recent splash on Soundcloud for his incredible trap/moombah remixes. This track is a perfect example; a soothing melody mixed with Gwen’s vocals atop a trap breakbeat makes this track incredibly chill. One of the few producers on the front line of the newer “trap” sound, there is no doubt (pun intended) that you are bound to see more of Baauer in the future. No release date yet, we will keep you posted.

Interview: Borgore

I was so lucky as to catch up with one of the fastest rising stars in the dubstep scene at Ultra Music Festival a few weeks ago.  The crazy man behind the tables with a bottle of goose in one hand and jager in the other, donning his signature leopard spirit hood is none other then Asaf Borger, better known as Borgore.  He recently dropped an EP titled flex, which you can pick up here for free. Also make sure to catch him on his “Better then a Strip Club” Tour currently making its way across the US. Check out the interview below to find out what it’s like working with Diplo, being in the Israeli army and the relationship between Justin Beiber and orgies.
