Artist Profile: Manufactured Superstars [Additional Global Dance Festival Leaked Lineup]

You probably know the Manufactured Superstars as the American house music duo who are known for their high energy sets, club bangers, and spacesuit attire, but there is a lot more to this duo than you might not know. Bradley Roulier and Shawn Shabo have been two of the most influential people in the electronic music industry not only on the decks, but probably even more so away from the turntables. Roulier was a co-founder (and is currently a founding member) and Shabo an original employee (and currently a member) of the seminal music retailer, Beatport.com! Roulier is also an owner of Denver’s Beta Nightclub, which was voted the “best club in America” last year by DJ Magazine and the club hosts the industry’s best parties and DJs.Clearly these two have made an incredible impact on the EDM industry, but they also are some of the most in-demand artists on the touring circuit.

Playing massive festivals like EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) and the best clubs in the world, they always provide a unique, high-energy set. They are known for playing a large number of tracks per set, playing several tracks from the 1980s and ’90s and editing the majority of their sets with their own personal bootlegs and remixes. If you haven’t seen these guys yet, be sure to check them out this summer. We also have some exclusive news that the duo will be throwing it down at the best venue in the world, Red Rocks, for Global Dance Festival in July along with Above & Beyond, Steve Angello, Wolfgang Gartner and many more. You can buy your tickets here.

Up and Comer: James Egbert

The newest edition to the ever-growing group of young, break-through DJs is Denver native James Egbert, a 24-year-old DJ and producer who has recently come into the EDM spotlight. This up and comer is no stranger to music, having written his first song on an analog sequencer before he was 10. Although James has worked as a producer since the age of 18, he has only recently delved into the world of electronic dance music. After merely one year, James has shared the stage with the likes of Skrillex, Wolfgang Gartner, Dada Life, and Porter Robinson at Global Dance Festival as well as enjoyed several chart topping hits on Beatport, including his biggest single, “Back to New,” which has been remixed by the infamous 3LAU for charity. James has just recently released his first full-length EP, “In The Beginning,” onto Beatport as a follow up. We had a chance to catch up with James for an interview:
