Gareth Emery – Meet Her In Miami (Original Mix)

If you ever find yourself questioning Gareth Emery’s tallent, one of his live performances will change your perspective indefinitely. The man is a showman by trade and his energy and passion exudes throughout the crowd every time he steps on stage. Careful song selection and top-notch mixing tallent come together in a dynamic set of pure musicality. Certain songs are crafted with the sole intention of being performed infront of a live crowd, and his most recent release, “Meet Her In Miami”, is a prime example. About 1:14 into the track it breaks into a bone-chilling progression that will get anybody on their feet and moving. Take a listen for yourself as this track is sure to be a staple in Gareth’s future performances.

Mikael Weermeets – Make Some Noise (Original Mix)

After a huge year in 2012, Mikael Weermets has his first release of 2013 on Gareth Emery’s Garuda label. “Make Some Noise” is a fresh progressive house track that also seems to include some electro and trance elements. The breakdown of the track has a wonderful trance synth melody alongside some claps that lead into the drop, introduced by a vocal sample of ‘make some noise’. The main lead has that harder progressive house style with some electro touches here and there. Go do as Tiesto, Nicky Romero, and Gareth Emery did and play this one out wherever you are to show support. Enjoy!

Ben Gold feat. The Glass Child – Fall With Me (Original Mix)

This 25 year old producer is a favorite among the head honchos of the trance scene. Ben Gold is fully backed by the support of Armin van Buuren, Tritonal, Gareth Emery, Markus Schulz, and many others. This same support is carried over in his newest release, Fall With Me which is one of Mr. Gold’s first attempts at a vocal track which features Swedish vocalist The Glass Child. Coming off the Garuda imprint, I would like to say that this is Ben Gold’s take on a similar vocal hit Concrete Angel by label mate Gareth Emery. This is a poppy track with trance still imbedded in its roots. The uplifting riffs and The Glass Child’s euphoric vocals pair nicely to bring together a finely produced vocal trance tune.

Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 Las Vegas: Official Recap

Simply put, this weekend was UNREAL. It began Thursday morning with a five-hour excursion from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, stopping only once for our precious In-N-Out. After finally touching down at our suite at the Mandalay Bay, we made it down the strip to the Hardrock Hotel to meet up with the rest of the Techi Team. What then ensued could only be described as a night of complete debauchery, leading into the next morning ready to head back to Mandalay Bay, where our good friends Gregory Sills and Peter Sims, together known as Fista Cuffs, played the topless pool party. Now that the darkness was approaching, it was time to call the limo and make our way to the main event – the one and only Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. Continue on for a day by day recap of everything that went down at the Motorspeedway on this legendary weekend…
