The infamous up and comer Drezo is finally making his first appearance on Beatport this Memorial Day. Last night he released his preview to the EP and it is one of the most unique EP’s we have ever heard. The EDC Discovery contest winner shows his true production skills and his passion for standing out as his own sound instead of the every day Avicii follower. As we’ve said before, unique talent can be found in any genre, any shape, and any size. Up and coming producer, Aaron Wayne, has proved just that with his brand new Electrogressive EP. Crossing the roads between both electro and progressive house, the title requires minimal explanation. Each of the four first tracks are complete original mixes, and the following three are remixes from Taylor Thomas, IDestiny, and Mars Pluto. Keep your eyes and ears out for Aaron Wayne, as we believe this Texas native has a very bright future.

The massive releases keep on dropping left and right as we approach the summer. Night Crime, formally known as Knight Crime, has just released their very first EP on Techibeats Records following up releases on Dim Mak and Club Cartel. This dual-track EP, Kolossus, is just as massive as the title entails. Both tracks, “Kolossus” and “Contra”, are masterfully constructed electro house tracks that thrive off of heavy basslines and melodic synth progressions. Night Crime has found a way to express their own style of electro house without abiding to the cookie-cutter nature of the genre. Both tracks are refreshingly unique and sure are making noise in the industry. Keep an eye out for Night Crime in the future because they are sure to only grow more popular after this release.

Knife Party’s short career over the past year and a half is nothing short of impressive as they have only released a handful of singles, remixes, and an EP prior to the Haunted House EP, yet they have managed to lock themselves down as one of the most sought after and influential DJ’s/producers in the game. They have taken the concepts of both dubstep and electro house and have made it their own giving themselves the most distinguishable sound out there. Rob Swire and Gareth McCullen have continued their domination of the world with their Haunted House EP as their sound continues to grow, mature, and break down the boundaries of EDM as we very well know it with their latest four productions. The first is “Power Glove” which, by now, we are all very familiar with and has proved to the world that the epicness of Knife Party is here to stay. The second is “LRAD” which we have been teased with for months in their own sets and previews which displays the newest addition to their ever developing sound with an almost tribal take on house beats mashed up with their massive synthesized sound. The third, “EDM Death Machine,” plays upon lyrics and song names of their past productions as they make it apparent that their is no turning back for them. Mechanical sounds, dirty bass beats, and a drop evil enough to inspire non-stop raging ensues as this track will get your feet moving whether you want them to or not. Finally, they finish their EP with a VIP of the legendary “Internet Friends” which, if you’re familiar with their sets or mixes, you will recognize as the version they have been dropping for about a year now. Just when we thought “Internet Friends” couldn’t get any crazier, the VIP of this song proved us all wrong and you’ll hear why below. One of my favorite labels nowadays is Jaymo & Andy George’s Black Moda. So when I see a new Black Moda release, I get chills before I even have a chance to listen to it and Odysseus does not disappoint with his newest works. Rhythmic and sensual are Odysseus’s game; gotta love this guy’s style. Unfortunately this is just a preview, but we will keep you all posted with a link once this jem hits stores.

Kill Frenzy made some serious noise with his debut on Dirtybird Records with ‘Make That Booty Clap’, and now we have confirmation that the remix EP will be released on May 6th featuring remixes from Plastician, The Martin Brother, Mark Star and Zombie Disco Squad. Each remix brings a unique twist on the original while still maintaining that funky, booty bouncing Dirtybird feel. This EP will most definitely be one of the biggest releases of the summer so be sure to check back on May 6th for the release!

Realboy, the robotic funk master, has come to us with his most recent release, fresh off the press of Temple Music Group. Austen Jacobsen electrifies our ears with a work worthy of being swooned over, titled Cable Basics —— a multi-genred four track EP. Although this is his first official release, it is quite promising; Cable Basics features some of Realboy’s most unique sounding tunes to date. Half of the songs, one of which includes live instrumentation and vocals, were recorded in merely a couple of days, giving a sample of Realboy’s polished finesse. Born with Synesthesia, Joey “Fiasko” Daniels has always had an unusually deep connection to music. An Insomniac Discovery Project winner in 2012, the star of critically accalimed Samsung Europe Commercial “Unleash Your Fingers: Next Generation”, Fiasko has very quickly climbed his way into the international spotlight. Having already shared the stage with noteworthy acts such as Zomboy, Le Castle Vania, Kill Paris, Candyland AndDrop!, Richie Hawtin, Nasty Nasty and super trio Krewella it was no surprise when Techibeats Records came knocking to sign him . Now, Fiasko Daniels is pleased to releases his debut EP appropriately titled “The EP”. Combining formant-filter vowel work, progressive builds and heavy drums, Fiasko plans on standing out from the rest, by making his music “speak”.

Disclosure, the British electronic duo made up of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, exploded onto the scene in 2010 touring with such acts as SBTRKT and Hot Chip. Their unique house/electropop/UK Garage sound has been turning heads ever since their inception, most recently with their EP’s Control and The Face as well as their hottest single that almost topped the UK’s Top 40 charts, “Latch” featuring Sam Smith. According to Mixmag, Disclosure’s debut album Settle is set to release on June 3rd. Not much is known about the album except the official artwork that has been released for it (most likely the two Lawrence brothers as little Disclosure blokes), but it is speculated that the singles “Latch” and “White Noise” featuring AlunaGeorge will make an appearance on the album as well as the ID’s the two have been belting out in their live shows over the past few months. Their newest single off of the upcoming album, “You & Me” featuring Eliza Doolittle, is set to release on April 28th with the premiere of it this Friday on Annie Mac’s Radio 1 show. More news on Settle shall ensue once we receive it, but until then allow the hype the two Lawrence brothers have been creating since 2010 take over you as well in anticipation of their first, full-length LP. It’s going to be one for the books, ladies and gentlemen.

The 19-year old deep house prodigy is at it again with his new and 3rd release on Dirtybird Records. Justin Jay has made two completely killer tracks with ‘SoCal Soul’ and ‘NorCal Swagger’. The first track, “Static”, is heavy, with its crunchy bassline and drum kit feels. The second track, “Waves”, is more for the mellow types but nonetheless a very well composed tune with a nice melody and some beautiful pads.
