Clockwork & Felix Cartal feat. Madame Buttons – The Fire (Original Mix)

the fireTwo of my favorite producers of all time have finally come together for a collaboration! Along with Madame Buttons on the vocals, Clockwork and Felix Cartal lend their amazing electro house skills to create “The Fire”, out now through Dim Mak Records. The track begins with a deep beat, and then adds in a low bassline with fun synths. Madame Buttons comes in shortly after, signing a beautiful song to compliment the upbeat dance feel. Then in the classic style of gnarly electro, her voice fades as the track builds and breaks into a killer drop that put a huge smile on my face. Collaborations are great for the fact that two or more producers can showcase their talents in one vessel, however I think that many times one producer’s sound dominates the creation. “The Fire” is unique for the opposite reason; Clockwork and Felix Cartal have seamlessly melded their talents into one, cohesive sound that balances their musical personalities. Listen for yourself, you do NOT want to be left out of “The Fire”.

Wobble Wednesday: Martin Solveig & The Cataracs feat. Kyle – Hey Now (Carnage Remix) [Preview]

martin solveig - techiMartin Solveig & The Catarac’s newest pop anthem, “Hey Now” has received the good ol’ remix treatment by none other then Carnage. Straying away from the “festival trap” sound that brought him to glory, Carnage has taken a new musical direction which can be heard in the progressive house roots of the remix, yet he still manages to drop the bass. And a lot of it too. The foreign influences upon the musical intricacies of the drop turn a once incredibly poppy song into a bouncy and bass driven rager. The official release date for this song has yet to be announced, but stay tuned and get familiar with the reinvented Carnage as he’s pumping out new and different material constantly. Enjoy!

Justice – Access All Arenas (Album)

The French electronic duo from the house of Ed Banger Records has kept us waiting long enough for their live album and at last it’s here to add to our collections. Justice, composed of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay have contributed greatly to the rise of the electronic music scene, pushing the envelope with their rock star lifestyle and influenced beats in arenas across the globe. Released with 14 tracks, and every track that an unfamiliar fan would ever need to get acquainted with their boundary breaking sound, the album echoes with cries of fans in the audience that have you reminiscing of their white lit up cross blinding you in front row. The album was recorded in France at the Arena of Nimes last July and although it’s been almost a year since then, their sound still creates chills from start to finish.

Jewelz and Scott Sparks – Hot Rod / White Sun (Original Mixes)

hot rod

After the smash hit “Toxic Rush” from the extraordinary pair Jewelz and Scott Sparks, we can only expect great productions from any collaboration the two work on. Here from Jewelz and Scott Sparks we have not one, but two amazing electro tracks, “Hot Rod” and “White Sun”. This perfect electro team have put their production skills to work yet again to create these killers songs, out today through Flamingo Recordings. The tracks have a similar feel to their sounds, however are extraordinarily different in content. “Hot Rod” is darker, incorporating a bass heavy back beat dominant in the intro. “White Sun” is funkier and more upbeat, with a melody present from the beginning of the track. I have a good feeling both of these tracks will be blowing up in the near future within many DJ’s festival sets. Listen below and let us know which track you prefer from these consistently amazing collaborators!

Having already shared the stage with noteworthy acts such as Zomboy, Le Castle Vania, Kill Paris, Candyland AndDrop!, Richie Hawtin, Nasty Nasty and super trio Krewella it was no surprise when Techibeats Records came knocking to sign him . Now, Fiasko Daniels is pleased to releases his debut EP appropriately titled “The EP”. Dannic – Viper (Original Mix)

viper

Hardwell has been hyping up this track for months and the crowd went absolutely insane after he previewed it at Ultra this year. “Viper” is another dance floor anthem from Dannic, who is quickly become a household name in the electro and progressive house scene. With massive support from Hardwell, he and Dyro both been growing tremendously in popularity. This track features huge synth leads and an energetic buildup, all of which are tied in together with an dazzling array of percussion. There will be much more to come from this young superstar, and you’ll be sure to hear this banger throughout this year’s festival circuit.

Daddy’s Groove & Cyrogenix – Tilt (Original Mix)

tiltReady for some DMX infused electro house? Daddy’s Groove and Cyrogenix have teamed up to produce “Tilt”, a sickeningly good track with a massive transition into clean, electro grime. The track begins with an outstanding beat, robotic synths, and then is layered with a melody reminiscent of a video game. “Tilt” builds with energy and DMX can be heard shouting “can’t stop won’t stop”, and other DMXesque words. Winding sirens are audible in the sound layer beneath the vocals until “Tilt” reaches the capacity of its build and drops into a filthy electro break that will literally make your jaw drop to the floor. A pure drum beat and those same robotic synths; it’s really that good. “Tilt” by Daddy’s Groove and Cyrogenix is out now on Beatport, you do not want to miss out on this track.

Durante – Challenger EP

artworks-000045011795-vp3pze-crop

The four track EP by Durante, recently released by OWSLA, is a fusion of varying tempos and styles. The first track, “Take A Look” is a deeper, smoother track than the rest of the EP. “Radio” is a bit more of an electro-oriented track but Durante can be heard taking the same stylistic approaches on rhythm and synthesis aesthetic on this one as well. The last two tracks, “Challenger” and “Crash”, although slower than the rest of the EP, still retain those house grooves making this a solid EP from up and comer Durante.
