Discopolis – Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion) [Axwell Radio Edit] [Preview]

Following the bigroom Dubvision remix of Discopolis’s ‘Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion)’ on Axtone, the label boss and former mafia man Axwell takes his crack at the track. To much surprise the track is in a much different vein than the big room, stadium anthems that have come to define the producer’s recent work. This edit is a euphoric track but definitely not a club track, with a much slower tempo Axwell shows a side that is very different and honestly very refreshing. It is exciting to see how the three Swedish House Mafia members will begin to branch out after the break up of the group, and it will be interesting to see what else Axwell has in store for the future.

Tuesday Trance Report: 110

110

Trance family around the world, welcome back to the 10th installment of our beloved Tuesday Trance Report. These past few weeks we’ve tried a different format of presenting our favorite high bpm melodies, but we’ve found that classic works best. So, without further ado, I hope you enjoy these tunes as much as all of us here in the Techifam. Leading off we’re blessed with a free “rebuild” from Andrew Rayel titled ‘If I Lose My Space BOOM’. If you’ve been keeping up with Rayel, you know he’s been hitting 2013 with quite the splash as one of this year’s most promising up and comers. Next up, Ashley Wallbridge’s ‘Ying Yang’ has finally released to Gareth Emery’s record label, Garuda Music. Showing some similarities to his collaboration with Gareth himself on their classic track, ‘Mansion’, we can always expect a great piece of work from Mr. Wallbridge. Richard Durand then takes the spotlight with his minimalistic trance build in ‘TranceMatic’, which eventually builds into a beautiful, high energy synth melody. Then, on Armada sub label, A State of Trance, we have the 138 bpm madness of Sebastian Brandt’s ‘Paragon’. Last but not least, Store N Forward feature Hannah Ray’s emotional vocals on their latest original mix, ‘Hero’. We hope you all have a great week; tweet us @techibeats with your favorite tracks of this week’s TTR for a promised retweet!

At last we’re given ‘Past Present Future’, the original mix from Dutch trance producer, Sied van Riel on yet another Armada sub label, Captivating Sounds. The whistling melodies, acoustic guitar jams, and catchy vocals that make up Paul Simon’s original 80s tune “You Can Call Me Al” have just been given a revamp by disco sensation Flight Facilities. With its easy going feel and tropical percussion, this tune makes me feel like I should be sipping on a coconut on a beach in Bali. Flight Facilities knows how to make a jam. Free download on this one guys.
