Destroid – Raise Your Fist (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Due to the amount of bass that just hit my face, I’m speechless. Good thing I’m typing though, so I can tell you about how awesome this song is. As we announced a few days ago; Excision, Downlink, & Space Laces (a.k.a KJ Sawka, Pendulum Drummer) have conjoined forces and created the mega-trio live dubstep band, Destroid! We now have their first release and I feel like I just joined a cult upon listening to this bass infused beast called, “Raise Your Fist”. For those who downloaded Excision’s annual Shambhala 2012 Mix, you were immediately introduced to this song, as it was the first song of the hour and a half tribute mix to 2012′s finest dubstep productions.“We must unite as one to save your planet. Those who rise against will be Destroid, those who have achieved an elevated  existence, Raise Your Fist!!!” is the underlying passage of the intimidating prequel and is the precursor for the heaviest bass song to surface in ages. This mind blowing produciton has set the tone for this god given project and fully showcases these three individual talents to the tee. For a small fee of sharing this song through Twitter or Facebook, Destroid has offered a free download. Click the “free download” link below and we will re-direct to where you need to go. Download at caution because this song hits so hard and has so much bass it shouldn’t even be legal.

Wobble Wednesday: Introducing The Future of Dubstep, ‘Destroid’

Dubstep heavyweights and innovators, Excision, Downlink & KJ Sawka (Pendulum’s Drummer) have announced they will be joining their talents and creating a colossal collaboration to be known as Destroid. The possibilities will be endless when these three masterminds get the ball rolling on this and we can expect a wobbly mixture of heavy metal and bass music. The biggest attraction about Destroid will be their live performance, in which they plan to bring dubstep to life and perform as a LIVE dubstep band. This news was announced the day Excision released his annual Shambhala Mix. Once clicking on the mix, viewers were then redirected to www.destroid.com - the official website of this godly project. Head to the website and you will be able to unveil the futuristic collaboration through a comic book, as well as the Destroid Existence Conspiracy video seen below. Wobble Wednesday: Excision & Downlink – Crowd Control (Delta Heavy Remix)

If you ever told me that someone took an Excision tune & made it even heavier, I’d simply slap you across the face and say that’s impossible. Well, Delta Heavy has slapped me across the face with this legendary remix of Excision & Downlink’s “Crowd Control” and proven that it’s completely possible. London producers Ben Hall & Simon James, better yet known as Delta Heavy, have been known to put a special twist on songs and turn them into full proof bangers. Perfect examples of this would be their remix of Nero’s “Must Be The Feeling” & Adam F’s classic “When The Rain Is Gone”. This rendition of “Crowd Control” released through the famous Rottun Records is no different, as they enhanced the bass thirsty anthem with their own twist of delta heaviness. This is a must listen on this fine Wobble Wednesday.

Getter – Wizard Flex (Original Mix)

Over the past two years San Jose native Tanner Petulla better known as Getter has taken underground bass music culture by storm. With a high energy stage presence and bass infused sets, he crushes the dance floor with each banger he drops, dominating stages across the states. At the age of 18 Getter had already signed to underground labels Ultragore and Chronos and he has now gained support from artists like Rusko, Flux Pavilion, Datsik, Borgore, FuntCase, Downlink and many more! But what he will be best known for are his signature guttural bass lines heard in his his most recent release on Datsik’s new label Firepower Records called the Psycho EP. This dubstep smasher “Wizard Flex” is one of five tracks from the release, including a remix from Liquid Stranger, which you can check out on beatport. Enjoy!

Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 Las Vegas: Official Recap

Simply put, this weekend was UNREAL. It began Thursday morning with a five-hour excursion from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, stopping only once for our precious In-N-Out. After finally touching down at our suite at the Mandalay Bay, we made it down the strip to the Hardrock Hotel to meet up with the rest of the Techi Team. What then ensued could only be described as a night of complete debauchery, leading into the next morning ready to head back to Mandalay Bay, where our good friends Gregory Sills and Peter Sims, together known as Fista Cuffs, played the topless pool party. Now that the darkness was approaching, it was time to call the limo and make our way to the main event – the one and only Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. Continue on for a day by day recap of everything that went down at the Motorspeedway on this legendary weekend…
