It’s about to be a bumpin' weekend in Minneapolis. This Friday night Sound In Motion is hosting trance legend Armin Van Buuren at Epic Nightclub. Opening for Armin is the popular trance producer Jochen Miller. As many of you know Armin Van Buuren was crowned #1 DJ 4 years in a row from 2006 to 2010 and he just recorded his 550th episode of his radio show A State of Trance. This night is sure to be nothing short of a good time. To follow is another epic night, Monday June 4th, Sound In Motion is bringing the Dutch sensation Afrojack to Epic. Tagging along with Afrojack are R3hab and Bobby Burns for
some opening support. This will be Afrojack’s first time in Minnesota. The young and talented Afrojack, born Nick Van de Wall, has his own label Wall Records and has been headlining music festivals all around the world. This is bound to be a Monday night Minneapolis won’t soon forget. Get your tickets for both shows here! Like I have been saying in every Minnesota related post, Sound In Motion has been bringing some great talent to the Twin Cities and that is not stopping anytime soon. With Porter Robinson coming up in July and the amazing lineup they just released for the Summer Set Music Festival, Minnesota is bound for an eventful Summer.

Here the Dutchman Sidney Samson gives us a free remix to the Black Eyed Peas front man Will.I.Am’s ‘T.H.E’. The track holds on to some its pop roots, but Samson quickly brings in the screaming leads that we have come to know and love from the dirty dutch artists like himself. Yesterday Laidback Luke unveiled this gem during his set yesterday at Ultra. These three legends have teamed up to give us a track that is characterized by the dark grinding synth’s, typical of the two dutch man, that bring us into floor-filling chord progressions. Having been featured in our Tiesto’s Club Life 255 review last week, the full version of this massive mashup has finally been released! This has got everything you want from all of the artists who each display a good amount of their work without any one style or song overlapping too much. Although two very different styles, the blend of house in ‘Keep It Coming’ along with Sidney’s very dirty dutch parts to ‘Turbulence’ come together perfectly to create yet another successful EDM mashup.
