Clockwork & Felix Cartal feat. Madame Buttons – The Fire (Original Mix)

the fireTwo of my favorite producers of all time have finally come together for a collaboration! Along with Madame Buttons on the vocals, Clockwork and Felix Cartal lend their amazing electro house skills to create “The Fire”, out now through Dim Mak Records. The track begins with a deep beat, and then adds in a low bassline with fun synths. Madame Buttons comes in shortly after, signing a beautiful song to compliment the upbeat dance feel. Then in the classic style of gnarly electro, her voice fades as the track builds and breaks into a killer drop that put a huge smile on my face. Collaborations are great for the fact that two or more producers can showcase their talents in one vessel, however I think that many times one producer’s sound dominates the creation. “The Fire” is unique for the opposite reason; Clockwork and Felix Cartal have seamlessly melded their talents into one, cohesive sound that balances their musical personalities. Listen for yourself, you do NOT want to be left out of “The Fire”.

Showtek – Crunk / Slow Down [Preview]

Showtek has two new tracks being released off Dim Mak March 5th, and both tracks have more depth and ingenuity than majority of the releases of 2013. “Crunk” will easily be the party anthem of the year, while “Slowdown” will be the track of the upcoming Ultra Music Festival designated to melt faces. Both tracks have that heavy hardcore Showtek sound, while routed towards a more house and moombah approach. Take a listen to the grade A tracks below, and patiently wait for their release! Cheers!

Clockwork – Tremor (Original Mix) [Preview]

“Tremor” is just one of the banging tracks off of Clockwork’s new Surge EP out February 12th off Dim Mak Records. The track has a unique sounding bass house riff and the skilled producer is able to add small and simple elements that bring out the sound even more throughout the song. The other track the Los Angeles native posted is “Surge” featuring Wynter Gordon where you can preview HERE. Looks like this EP is going to be a big winner for Dim Mak and Clockwork!

Steve Aoki, Angger Dimas, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike – Phat Brahms (Tom Swoon Remix) [Preview]

Everyone at this point hopefully recognizes the creepily magical riff of “Phat Brahms” and if you do, you know it turns into a masterful electro beat that stays stuck in your head for days, but Tom Swoon knows how to turn that well known riff into an insane progressive track. IN-SANE. He uses big room, anthem synths as a breakdown and a simple build up twisting from the original riff to ultimately lead into an old school house riff over the anthem. It sounds like old school Afrojack mixed with Avicii, so naturally everyone will be drooling. Check out the preview below and patiently wait for Dim Mak to release this beauty!

Tiesto & Steve Aoki – Tornado (Remixes)

Nearly a year after two of the biggest names in EDM came together to create the fast-paced whirlwind of a production titled, “Tornado”, we have three new renditions to bring this song back to life. Dim Mak has officially released this long-coming remix package featuring Kill The Noise, Felix Cartal, & Angerr Dimas. In spirit of Wobble Wednesday we will focus on the mind boggling remix by Kill the Noise, which happens to be my favorite of the three. Staying true to his signature sound, he brings you on a ride with a majestic build-up that leads you straight into one of the most perfectly executed drops I’ve ever heard. Kill the Noise brings in the prominent vocals of Polina to accentuate this electronic masterpiece. We also have the official music video for Tornado after the break which includes cameos from Michael Trevino, Omar Doom, Tiernan Cowling and of course Tiesto & Steve Aoki. Enjoy the ride through the electric tornado on Planet Tiesto!

AutoErotique – Roll The Drums (Clockwork Remix) [Preview]

Out next month on Dim Mak Records, Clockwork’s brand new remix to AutoErotique’s ‘Roll The Drums’ features an insanely hard hitting big room bassline unlike any other I’ve heard in quite a while. The deep riffs are perfectly matched with contrastingly high pitch vocals and sudden breaks in beat on top of a swift melody that beautifully uses light leads to build into such a deep drop. I can not wait for this release, and I especially can not wait to hear it in any upcoming sets. Enjoy!
