Kill Frenzy made some serious noise with his debut on Dirtybird Records with ‘Make That Booty Clap’, and now we have confirmation that the remix EP will be released on May 6th featuring remixes from Plastician, The Martin Brother, Mark Star and Zombie Disco Squad. Each remix brings a unique twist on the original while still maintaining that funky, booty bouncing Dirtybird feel. This EP will most definitely be one of the biggest releases of the summer so be sure to check back on May 6th for the release!

Discopolis – Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion) [Axwell Radio Edit] [Preview]

Following the bigroom Dubvision remix of Discopolis’s ‘Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion)’ on Axtone, the label boss and former mafia man Axwell takes his crack at the track. To much surprise the track is in a much different vein than the big room, stadium anthems that have come to define the producer’s recent work. This edit is a euphoric track but definitely not a club track, with a much slower tempo Axwell shows a side that is very different and honestly very refreshing. It is exciting to see how the three Swedish House Mafia members will begin to branch out after the break up of the group, and it will be interesting to see what else Axwell has in store for the future.

Well, Disclosure has done it again with their next single ‘You & Me’ featuring Eliza Doolittle. After gaining a lot of international attention for tracks like ‘Latch’ and ‘Whitenoise’ this UK based brotherly duo has just come off performances at Ultra and Coachella and have announced their upcoming album, titled ‘Settle’ will be released on April 28th. ‘You & Me’ is just another example of the talent that these two have, with their unique garage style and innate ability to choose perfect vocalists for their tracks.

Daft Punk | Random Access Memories | The Collaborators Episode 3: Nile Rogers

Today the third episode of The Collaborators series has been released, adding to the ever increasing anticipation for the release of Daft Punk’s upcoming album Random Access Memories on May 21st. This episode features Nile Rogers, the legendary American guitarist and producer who has been behind countless hit records. Rogers was the first person involved with the upcoming album to allude that the french robotic duo had a new album in the works. As with the previous two episodes of the Collaborator Series this episode gives us some more insight into just how incredible this album will be.

Premiered in Mark Knight’s epic Ultra set, this new collaboration track with Bass Kleph and Prok & Fitch is going to be a huge one. “Jackie Brown” is a high energy, groovy tech house tune that just can’t make you stop bobbing your head or dance enough. This track features an old styled horn melody, vocal chops, and a tech beat with plenty high hats and bass to keep you moving. “Jackie Brown” is set to be released on the one and only Toolroom Records but has no release date yet. The anticipation for Daft Punk’s upcoming album, ‘Random Access Memories’, is growing and growing as the release date of May 21st come closer. To celebrate the release of the album they have created a series of small videos featuring the collaborating artists on the album. This episode features Todd Edwards, a legendary house and garage producer who has previously worked with the duo. Just like the first episode with Giorgio Moroder, this video makes it ever more clear that this album will be nothing short of incredible.

The young Norwegian producer Fehrplay is quickly emerging as one of the most talented new producers at the moment. After gaining the attention of the one and only Eric Prydz, Fehrplay has joined the Pryda friends team and has swiftly taken the roll as the front runner of the label. He has four releases on Pryda friends, has been touring with Prydz, has a highly anticipated upcoming single and there is no sign of Fehrplay putting on the brakes anytime soon. Steve Angello Launches New Record Label

Steve Angello has just announced that he will be launching another label in addition to his very successful Size Records which he has been running for 10 years now. The new imprint will be a sub label called X and the first release will be a two track EP from Trent Cantrelle titled ‘Nice & Close’. These tracks stray from the big room sound that has come to dominate the sounds coming from his label and offer a more pumping house vibe. ‘Nice & Close’ was featured as the opening track on Steve’s recent Essential Mix and was one of my personal favorites of the mix. The release date for ‘Nice & Close’ is set for May 6th so be sure to check back! Enjoy!

What else is there to say about one of the best producers to ever play the game? His music speaks for itself no matter which allias he releases his tracks under. There is somewhat of a guarantee associated with his music because he refuses to release anything that he does not believe is the best that it can be.
