Bass heads, we’ve found the mother ship! The notorious UK based Circus Records and my favorite record label of them all has unveiled the ultimate jackpot. This 26 track colossal album features originals, VIP’s, remixes and even a bonus track compiled by the masterminds behind Circus Records. Most notably are Doctor P and Flux Pavilion, but you can’t forget about their heavy artillery support from: Brown & Gammon, Roksonix, Cookie Monsta, FuntCase, The McMash Clan, Mizuki and Slum Dogz. This album is every bass heads dream as it displays sounds that span the entire bass driven genres. Some of the songs are classics which have been freshly re-mastered, and most of the songs are being premiered for their first time. One thing I can say is from song 1 to song 26, you are in for quite the treat and can find this impeccable track list after the jump. Enjoy the album’s minimix below and grab the full album through the iTunes link provided below. Cheers!

Well, I think it’s safe to say this could be the best dubstep track to surface in quite a long time. Whenever you see a release from the notorious Circus Records, you should immediately prepare for an absolute smashing tune packed with emotion, heavy bass modulation, and that classic UK sound. This track emulates that to a tee and Cookie Monsta & Flux Pavilion have come together to deliver just that and so much more. The vocal sample of “Come Find Me” is integrated into a track that is lead by a whisping melody, an intricate drum pattern and a drop that will have you begging for more. It’s so distinct to hear where Flux & Cookie each took the lead and added their own special spice to turn this tune into a full proof banger. Have a listen for yourself and get ready because the Circus Two album is set to drop May 13th, with this track and 24 other quality compositions from the UK based Circus Records.

Flux Pavilion – Blow the Roof EP

Circus Records’ CEO and UK’s Joshua Steele, better known by his adopted alias, Flux Pavilion, has taken the EDM community by storm over the last 4 years with his innovative style of production that has lead to the mainstreamization of dubstep and bass driven music as a whole. Over the past few months, Flux, has boasted and spread the hype over his social media outlets in preparation of his newest album release which just released today, Blow the Roof. This album is everything we could have asked for and so much more from the highly looked upon bass slaying veteran. With his heavy french house influence and his desire to stray away from the unnecessary layers and noises, Flux has gained extreme popularity from music lovers of all genres. Besides the paramount production skills that Flux showcases in this EP, we’re also exposed to another musical skill of his, his vocal ability. On the tracks, “The Scientist” and “Starlight” they both feature exuberant melodies that “fluxtuate” throughout and help support the enriching vocals Flux provided himself. Flux also called in some hip hop reinforcement for the EP and brought along Childish Gambino for the song “Do or Die” and UK’s Sway & P Money for the track, “Double Edge”. Of all the songs to release, I predict the first song on the EP, “OneTwoThree (Make Your Body Wanna) to blow up and take over the charts worldwide. Overall, Blow the Roof is a true exemplification as to why Flux Pavilion’s production skill and musical knowledge are considered to be superior in the world of syncopated high hats and low end bass modules. Buckle up, because this one is stuffed from start to finish with proper anthems and is about to skyrocket and blow the roof off of speakers world wide! Below are my favorite tracks from the EP and you can see the tracklist after the jump!

Wobble Wednesday: FuntCase – So Vexed (Cookie Monsta & VIP Remix) [Free Downloads]

“So Vexed” by FuntCase was one of the first songs that got me into bass music a few years back. The aggressive attitude and powerful demeanor behind every gut wrenching hit, really hit home to me and made me fell in love with dubstep. Whether it be FuntCase, Roksonix, Flux Pavilion, Cookie Monsta, Doctor P or Brown & Gammon, whenever I see anything to do with Circus Records, I know it’s the business. It’s my pleasure to present to you years later, a remix of this dubstep classic by fellow Circus Records label-mate, Cookie Monsta. Cookie did a superb job of keeping the foundation and dynamics of this legendary banger, and enhanced it in all the right ways. FuntCase also had a go at his old breakthrough track and modernized the ishh out of it. The VIP is the best of the classic UK dubstep sound and the new modern contemporary sound we’ve been hearing totally combined and suped up. Enjoy the free holiday downloads from the Circus Records boys and a safe and Happy New Year to all of you!

WOW! If this is the quality of production that 2013 has to offer, we are in for a year of musical gratification. This track titled, “Blow The Roof” is the title song for the forthcoming Flux Pavilion album due out, January 28th, 2013, titled, Blow The Roof EP which will be released on Flux’s Circus Records. This walloping banger is living proof of Flux’s undeniable talent and leads me to believe his year of becoming best friends with Dillon Francis has positively affected his musical productions. With a tasteful drum pattern thrown over a catchy melody and exaggerating synths & wobbles, this tune is sure to blow the roof off the place. Very excited to see what the year of 2013 has to offer musically and this is a great taste and sample of what the future has in store.

Wobble Wednesday: Roksonix – The Dogfight EP

Guy Abbott and Phil Desborough are childhood friends who grew up making music together in nearly every genre. After playing in various bands together in their teens and over the years experimenting with jungle, hip hop, and drum and bass; the Buckinghamshire, UK duo found their calling in dubstep. After hearing the legendary “FabricLive 37″ album by Caspa & Rusko a couple years back, the tandem wanted to give the 140bpm a shot of their own and adopted the alias, Roksonix. Once the name was confirmed, Abott & Desborough immediately started pumping out remixes to establish themselves, including their remixes of Imogen Heap’s “Hide & Seek”, Flux Pavilion’s “Voscilate”, and a personal favorite, their remix of Talay Riley’s “Sergeant Smash”. These three remixes that they produced in their first 10 months set the standard for their wide musical talent and premiered their newly found and extremely distinct sound. Fast forward a year and a half to the end of 2012, Roksonix is signed to the notorious Circus Records founded by Doctor P & Flux Pavilion, have many top notch productions under their belt, and have earned the ranking amongst the best in the dubstep game.

With their latest EP release titled, The Dogfight, Roksonix has confirmed why their international success is the real deal. Their UK roots prominently are distinguished upon hearing their noise that orchestrates throughout each individual production on this EP. Each of the four songs tells it’s own bass driven story and showcase their musical talent and chemistry that dates back to their youth. The Dogfight EP  delivers two 140bpm gems, a 110bpm banger and a sped up 175bpm DnB track featuring Jenna G that will have you thriving for more. Don’t pass this one up because it is by far one of the best bass infused EP’s of 2012. Happy Wobbles Y’all!

Wobble Wednesday: Brown & Gammon – Rock Da Beats (Original Mix)

With DJ aliases ranging all over the place, sometimes it’s hard to keep up with how many people are actually in the DJ “group”. With a name like Brown & Gammon, you’d think that that it would be two DJ’s; Brown and Gammon, right? This statement is completely false and sometimes it’s hard to imagine that just one man can come up with the ideas and compilations that B & G has released. Whether it be trumpets, 80′s synthesizers, or samples dating back to the 20′s; when you see Brown & Gammon has released a new song, you never know what to expect. This time is no different as we have the release of his newest original mix, “Rock Da Beats”. This track starts off with a spooky build up that immediately simmers down into an extremely peaceful and relaxing hook. It doesn’t take long for the relaxation to deteriorate and for Brown & Gammon to enforce the grime. As soon as this song hits, you can distinctly hear Brown & Gammon’s UK Dubstep roots as he incorporates some very intricate wisps and hard slamming bass that are notorious of Circus Records’ label-mates. Make sure to snag this song off Beatport and make the best of your Wobble Wednesday!

Wobble Wednesday: Flux Pavilion – Do or Die (feat. Childish Gambino) [Preview]

Debuting for the first time at Electric Zoo last week, Flux Pavilion gives us the first glimpse of his highly awaited collaboration with hip hop artist Childish Gambino, “Do or Die”. This rip from his set last week is nothing less than phenomenal. It contains a very catchy hook, heavy hip hop influenced back beat and some smooth flow by Gambino; all leading up to a drop that will have you shaking your head in doubt. Flux tells us this song will be released on an 8 track EP, set to release in November. As you can hear from this preview, the crowd is loving it & so will you!
