The best thing about a remix EP is being able to listen to one of your favorite songs being played five different ways. In this case, The M Machine, Audien, CLMD, and Whiiite apply their own take on Arty’s wildly successful collaboration with Chris James, “Together We Are” off of Big Beat Records. The original, as is exemplified in the provided instrumental mix, is massive in itself displaying everything we love about dance music: emotion, feel good vibes, and fun. The remixes have taken the canvass of which Arty himself created and have tweaked his masterpiece to combine their own styles. The M Machine lends their mechanical electro sound to the song, Audien adds his own unique trance twist to the mix, CLMD adds even more beauty with his own progressive house take on the song, and Whiiite turns up the energy with his own hard hitting electro remix. It was only a matter of time until Chris James was picked up for another featured spot on an already massive track. Last time we heard his vocals on a track they were laced upon Deadmau5′s massive hit, “The Veldt”. With some of the most soothing and mesmerizing vocals we have ever heard, it comes as no surprise that Russian whiz-kid Arty has selected Chris James for his most recent single, “Together We Are”. This track is sure to be one of the most memorable tracks of early 2013 as we can already hear it bouncing off the walls of clubs and festivals for months to come. Arty feat. Chris James – Together We Are (Extended Mix) [Preview]

After many live rips and previews, Arty’s single “Together We Are” is finally set to release on Beatport next month, February 18th via Big Beat Records. Before this official preview, fans only heard the main lead with capturing piano chords and no hint of any vocals. Fortunately, we now have the full extended mix and it couldn’t be any better thanks to Arty’s amazing production skills and Chris James’ vocals. It is safe to say this track was dedicated to Arty’s relationship with his significant other, Kate, due to the album cover and lyrics singing ‘together we are, stronger’. The message and feeling behind “Together We Are” has already given me plenty goosebumps and gets me even more excited for the official release. Enjoy!

EDC Las Vegas 2012: Essential Mix by Fista Cuffs [Free Download]

It is my pleasure to give you our very own EDC Las Vegas Essential Mix, exclusively recorded by the one and only, Fista Cuffs. The mix is chop full of the top 25 tracks that you will be hearing all weekend and is geared toward raising your excitement levels to an all time high. Tomorrow night (Thursday), the majority of the corporate Techi team and I will be initiating our weekend at Hardwell Presents Revealed, where we will be seeing performances by Dannic, Dyro, and Hardwell himself. Continuing our adventures, we will be partying with our good friend and president of Techibeats, Fista Cuffs, as he performs at the Mandalay Bay pool party on Friday from 11am – 3pm. However, if you are just looking to rage at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the infamous carnival of electric daisies, we will be there all three days as well.
