Wobble Wednesday: Damn Kids – My Last Mix Ever Volume 1 [Free Download]

Toronto native and bass driven up & comer, Damn Kids is quickly rising up the ranks in the bass driven community. If you don’t believe me, just ask DMC world champion, DJ Craze, who featured Damn Kids on his “Best of 2013 Mix” and claims that this youngster will have a massive year. If that’s not enough credibility for you, how about two up coming EP’s to be released on ‘Trouble and Bass’ and on another label in which we can not name at this time. With support from such big names, it must mean that this “damn kid” truly means business and is ready to establish himself in this defining year for EDM. We are firm believers in the statement, “actions speak louder than words”, so we cordially invite you to click play on this exclusive mix that Damn Kids has prepared for us. This 32 minute mix is a manifesto of incredible originals and remixes that Damn Kids has composed and showcased for us. Take a listen and make sure to catch Damn Kids open up for Borgore at the Avalon, just one week from today on February 1st!

Borgore – #TurnUp EP

Borgore once again tears it up with his excellent #TurnUp EP, which showcases his masterful dubstep production and adds in something a bit unexpected and fresh; Borgore’s traditional sharp, gritty dubstep style has been complemented with an increased focus on melody that draws much from today’s progressive house. “Turn Up” in particular has that anthem-like sound that has become so popular in the EDM scene, and is definitely a track to make the crowds go wild. “Why Does It Feel” also showcases some beautiful melodic lines and details, but don’t get too relaxed or else that massive bass will catch you off guard and leave you in a Borgore-induced daze. We’ve uploaded the two tracks below, so make sure to check them out as well as the rest of the EP on Beatport!

Document One – Moving Together EP

Dubstep simply flows through the veins of Borgore, so of course he’s going to continue putting out gritty, brain-crushing music through his label Buygore. The highlighting single of this EP, “Moving Together” by Document One, has a balance of extremes – at one moment you hear beautiful melodies and comforting, human vocals, and then the next you are completely obliterated with intense bass drops and robotic beats. We’ve uploaded the single below for you to enjoy, but make sure you check out the rest of the EP at Beatport!

Borgore’s lastest EP entitled Decisions was just released on his own label Buygore. The EP features the title track with an instrumental edit, as well as a grinding electro house remix from Cedric Gervais and a massive drumstep remix from Dead Audio. Featured below is this raw electro take on the new dubstep single remixed by Cedric Gervais that is absolutely banging! The whole EP can be purchased now on beatport, so go give it a listen and enjoy, and remember…bitches love cake!
