If you’re like me, electro house is your preferred subgenre of EDM. In that case, this hour long compilation of electro from Darth and Vader is just what you need to get you through the rest of the week. I have been a huge fan of this Brazillian electro house DJ/producer for a long time. His sounds are funky and dirty, and so much fun to dance to. Too often producers put out mixes or podcasts which feature a majority of tracks from other producers. Not this one. The 31st episode of XXXTapes exemplifies Darth and Vader quality and danceability, and most tracks are originals or remixes from D&V himself. Fatboy Slim has been playing a killer mash-up on his most recent tour: “I Feel Love Rolling In The Deep.” The track consists of Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love” and Adele’s “Rolling In The Deep” continuously using both artists’ vocals in an uplifting and powerful beat. It’s a little bit of new, a little bit of funky, and most definitely a little bit of fresh, and is most definitely a track for a DJ trying to rowdy up a crowd. Dinka – Inseparable EP

The new Dinka EP, Inseparable, is one to not miss out on as it is honestly hard to separate my ears from these musical masterpieces below. The Swiss duo paired up with Angelika Vee on the title track, making an original and club mix that are both truly genius tunes having beautiful synth work and uplifting chord melodies. The other track, “Brazil”, was named after Dinka asked fans to tag their location via Facebook and Brazil proved to be the highest population of fans checked in. This track has more of that old, original Dinka sound that we are all used to – the perfect melodic progressive house with uplifting chords and ambient background elements. Enjoy!

Paris Hilton Announces DJ Tour…

The infamous party queen, Paris Hilton has recently announced that she will playing a one hour set at the Pop Music Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil followed by more shows. For a while now Paris has been trying to get into the DJ industry, with earlier talks of a house album and dating superstar DJ Afrojack but it appears that she has somehow managed to get someone to let her get on stage and DJ. I personally think this is horrible for the industry, it’s image and reputation but I suppose stunts like this are to be expected with the mainstream crossover.
