Yesterday, Pete Tong got to sit down and talk with the one and only Daft Punk, discussing their life over the last few years and of course about their upcoming album, Random Access Memories. The interview consists of Thomas speaking most of the time with Pete, going in depth on their album and how it came about. He goes into detail about their work with the various collaborators and gives a little more insight to the story behind Pharrel Williams not remembering recording “Get Lucky” in Paris. As you listen, Pete Tong mentions that he has heard the whole album and talks with Thomas about some of the other tracks that we’ve never heard before, hinting at some vibes to expect. We also get word on the current plans for a future tour and to expect some Daft Punk remixes – which I am very excited about. Enjoy!

Tiësto & Hardwell vs. Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash – Reload Zero 76 (Hardwell ClashUp)

Having debuted just a short while ago on his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Hardwell’s brand new “clashup” combines both his collaboration with Tiesto titled ‘Zero 76′ and the collaboration of both Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash, ‘Reload’. A well done mashup takes the immaculate ear of an original producer, and if anyone has a pair of those, it’s Hardwell. Hopefully we’ll be given a free download of this booty in the near future so we can give all you DJs out there a solid set builder. For now, feel free to stream the track below, and stay tuned for any updates.

Alesso – Clash (Original Mix)

Alesso’s new track, “Clash”, was just released today on Beatport after being finished a long time ago, at least 8 months to be exact. I remember hearing this track for the first time in his Essential Mix back in March and it definitely rose my energy level with slight ease. Coming back from a couple collaboration tracks, this solo Alesso track is a bit more darker and harder than most of his recent releases. So give this one a listen and grab your copy on Beatport below!

Wobble Wednesday: Nero – Won’t You (Be There) (Bauuer Remix)

I’m completely baffled at the impeccable execution of this remix we have presented for you today. The up & coming trap superstar, Baauer, has taken the recent Nero release “Won’t You Be There” and turned it into his own special rendition. This rip from Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show is an immaculate example of the promising future that trap music has in store. Combining classic hip-hop 808′s and claps over the familiar vocals of Alana Watson and the cosmic sound that Nero never fails to provide, we have a true masterpiece at hand. Add this one to the fall festival playlist and for those who will be attending HARD Day of the Dead, make sure to catch Baauer’s highly anticipated trap-filled set!
