After Porter Robinson blew our minds with his own 30 minute Triple J mix at the end of last year, another one of the young DJ prodigies, Madeon, has returned with an impressive 46 track mix in only 33 minutes using nothing more then two Ableton Launchpads and a midi controller. The talent this kid has is unreal and can only be realized by clicking the play button below and listening to the magic he creates. Madeon describes his own mix as, “A snapshot of the music that’s been exciting me as a DJ recently, ranging from electro to disco-ish stuff.” The spectrum of music of which he speaks so modestly is huge as he pulls tracks from The M Machine, Audien, Zedd, Autoerotique, Kill the Noise, Wolfgang Gartner, Justice, Lemâitre, and, of course, his own arsenal of music. This mix will prove to those skeptical of DJing that it is in fact an art that takes a particular creative mind to master.
