Andrew Bayer – Gaff’s Eulogy

6402082

Taken from his massive It’s Artificial EP, Andrew Bayer gives us one of his biggest singles off the compilation, “Gaff’s Eulogy”. This track has received tons of support from fans and artists alike over the past year due to its amazing production quality and listening feel. With soothing violins, keys, and various glitch elements, this electronica track proves Andrew Bayer’s true talents as a whole. This release also includes a new interpretation by Ryan Davis that is quite unique and up to par with Bayer’s original. It has a bit more of a deep house vibe with a slow, driving beat and a faster moving melody. Be sure to give these two masterpieces a listen below and enjoy!

Jaytech – Multiverse (The Remixes)

Having previously released an original mix and album under the name ‘Multiverse’, today Jaytech has delivered a club mix to the track accompanied by a couple remixes by fellow Anjunabeats family members, Audien and Mimax. Each remix features some classic Anjuna euphoria but includes some unique sounds and varying delivery. At 130 bpm, Mimax’s track runs a little quicker than both Audien’s remix and the original, but each progress beautifully through around seven to eight minutes.

Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston – Alchemy (The Remixes)

Just recently, Above & Beyond’s club mix to, ‘Alchemy’, their very own track with iconic female vocalist, Zoe Johnston, shocked the trance community as one of the most emotional pieces of work that not only the group has ever produced, but that anyone has ever produced to date. Still sitting at #2 on the Beatport trance charts, the mix is proving to withstand the test of time, and will continue to flow the cues of trance sets around the globe for a respectful period of time. Just yesterday, however, we were blessed with a couple official remixes to the track which provide some different takes on musical emotion. The first remix from Hungarian duo, Myon & Shane 54, gives us a similarly emotional, beautifully produced trance remix that they call their ‘Redemption Mix’. Vastly differing from both the original club and redemption mix, Submerse’s take on the track gives it an all new vibe with some mellower wobbles and slower tempo. So, throw on some quality headphones, cue up these tunes, and get ready for one unique musical adventure.

Up and Comers: Suspect 44

Suspect 44 is an up and coming trio from the United States and Netherlands who have bursted onto the scene with their successful hits on the Anjunadeep mix compilations. Their most recent release, “Neon Feel,” which was debuted by Jaytech at TATW 400 a year ago, proved to be the most popular single according to iTunes off the Anjunadeep 04 compilation. While they initially chose to conceal their identities, it has been revealed that Suspect 44 consists of Luke Shipstad, Hoz Sabirr, and Zhiar Mahmoud. Together they are an innovative group that strive to create unique and refreshing tunes without the confinement to any one genre. Suspect 44 claim that they “make things that make your ears feel good,” and we have yet to be let down by their productions. With new original mixes soon to come and remixes for Armada and Jaytech, it’s unlikely that anything will be stopping Suspect 44 from improving on their breakout year. Marsh – Ethereal EP

Tom Marsh is a rising young talent out of the UK and is quickly making a name for himself. Ditching the first name, the producer has branded himself just Marsh. Yesterday he released his Ethereal EP on Arrival Recordings, which consists of three brilliantly produced tracks. Collectively, these are some of the most refreshing productions I’ve heard this year as we draw close to the end of 2012. The three instrumentals are crisp and soothing while still managing to be very moving and captivating. The title track is a melodic tune with uplifting pads and a groovy bassline that puts it all together. “Sleeping Now” features vibrant synths and a piano melody that is just blissful when accompanied by the female vocals. The track has been praised by Above & Beyond as a “real beauty” and was a TATW Record of the Week. Finally there is “Waiting For The Mail Man.” The last track is united by smooth percussion and a dynamic riff. The synths emerge nicely in another fine tuned production by Marsh. The EP perfectly blends the diverging styles of progressive trance and house, something you might see with the Anjunadeep imprint. I must say I am blown away by this EP and I highly suggest you all take a listen for yourselves.

Keyworth – Chameleon EP Mini-Mix [Free Download]

Casey Keyworth, one of the most innovative EDM producers, is someone you don’t come across often, having insane skills in several genres of production. He is most known for his trance alias, Breakfast, after having several successful releases on Anjunadeep, and his insane remix of Andrew Bayer’s “From The Earth”. Here he comes out with his first EP under Keyworth, titled Chameleon. This EP features an original and two remixes from himself, expanding across almost every spectrum of the production scale, hearing dubstep, electronic, deep house, and hip-hop elements in each track. The first remix isn’t my favorite, but the last two are too fresh for their own good. Keyworth provided us with a small mini-mix of the EP and a free download available on his website. Check it all out below!
