Here we have a new EP release from Size Records’ newest up and coming producers – Qulinez. “Bamf” and “Dynamic” are two original productions that prove exactly why Qulinez makes a great addition to Steve Angello’s Size family. Both of these tracks embody progressive house at its finest, but they are diverse enough to show the producers’ range in the studio. “Bamf” is the harder hitting of the two tracks, with massive synth-leads that progress into a ferocious drop. “Dynamic” errors on the softer side of the progressive realm but it still holds its own on this EP release. The amount of brainpower and equipment that just culminates in this studio building Angello has is pure insanity. We have these huge festival DJs all in one building, constantly collaborating with the industries top gear. I can not say I’m not jealous of these guys. Electric Daisy Carnival 2012 Las Vegas: Official Recap

Simply put, this weekend was UNREAL. It began Thursday morning with a five-hour excursion from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, stopping only once for our precious In-N-Out. After finally touching down at our suite at the Mandalay Bay, we made it down the strip to the Hardrock Hotel to meet up with the rest of the Techi Team. What then ensued could only be described as a night of complete debauchery, leading into the next morning ready to head back to Mandalay Bay, where our good friends Gregory Sills and Peter Sims, together known as Fista Cuffs, played the topless pool party. Now that the darkness was approaching, it was time to call the limo and make our way to the main event – the one and only Electric Daisy Carnival, Las Vegas. Continue on for a day by day recap of everything that went down at the Motorspeedway on this legendary weekend…

AN21 & Max Vangeli vs. Steve Angello – H8RS [Preview]

AN21 & Max Vangeli give us the first taste off their highly anticipated album, People Of The Night. The first preview they give us is a collaboration with AN21′s older brother and Swedish house original don, Steve Angello. The track, ‘H8RS’ is a dark distorted track with grinding leads, wobbles heavy bass lines that might not be what you were expecting from the duo. This gritty feel reminds me a bit of Alesso’s heavier work. It will be very interesting to see how the rest of the album unfolds. We will keep you posted with news on the release. Enjoy!
