DATSIK – The Coachella Diaries

Troy Beetles, better yet known as dubstep legend, Datsik invites you backstage to the world renown music festival Coachella. In this mini documentary, Datsik shares his personal festival experience, the details on the production of his set, and all the familiar faces he parties with along the way on his Indio adventure. Nero, Porter Robinson, Madeon, Flux Pavilion, & Kaskade get some cameos just to name a few. The documentary builds up from his arrival to the polo grounds, him unleashing the bass on the sahara tent, all the way to him getting down to Snoop & Dre as they close out the festival. This was a beautiful demonstration of an artist being a regular fan too, big ups to Datsik & editor Teaghan McGinnis.

Toolroom TV Episode 1

The legendary Mark Knight just released the first installment of his YouTube tv series. This episode shows us some of the closing Toolroom Knights party at Space in Ibiza, the fifth birthday party for Toolroom Knights in London at Brixton Academy. Max’s music has a certain cinematic quality to it, so it was only a natural progression for him to team up with some visual effects maestros to create some of the most unique and original music video’s around. Swedish House Mafia – Full Coachella Set Video

Here we have a video of the full Swedish House Mafia set from Friday of the first weekend of Coachella. The quality of the video isn’t the best but it gives you a good idea of the incredible production of the show. The set is no less massive than you would expect to come from these legends. There is an unknown track around 13:20, that could be the rumored Sebastian Ingrosso and Tommy Trash collaboration. Sebastian Ingrosso leads us to believe that the new track will be very melodic and moving, but has a bit more of a hard hitting edge that probably comes from Tommy. Enjoy!

By the looks of it, the DJ is in one of the ‘Pokeball’ looking devices and the lead singer is in the other.

In this episode he concludes his college invasion tour with the record breaking show in LA with the largest single DJ event in history at the Home Depot Center. Just as Electric Daisy Carnival was made into a riveting movie experience for audiences of all ages who were unable to experience it live, Ultra has officially joined in the cinematic thrill– hopefully there won’t be any rioting in Hollywood this time! If you missed out on the festival last year, you’re going to want to catch this in the movies! Who knows, maybe they’ll even come out with a Coachella feature film one day!
