Audien – Keep This Memory (Johan Malmgren Remix) | Beatport

Swedish up and comer, Johan Malmgren, probably has some of the freshest production in the trance scene right now. After winning the remix competition for The Thrillseekers track “The Last Time” in late 2011, he has caught the eye many big artists and is continuing to put out great tracks and remixes. His remix of Audien’s “Keep This Memory” is one of my favorite new tracks, having a beautiful piano melody in the breakdown, leading to a high energy chorus giving me chills every time. Be sure to look out for more releases from Johan this summer!

Emma Hewitt – Miss You Paradise Pt. 1

Emma Hewitt is one of the most prominent figures in Trance music having graced many tracks with her beautiful voice. She has worked along side producers such as Cosmic Gate, Chris Lake, and Dash Berlin to name a few. With the initial release of her extremely successful single “Colours,” Emma Hewitt follows it with “Miss You Paradise” the second single off of her new album Burn the Sky Down. The vocals on the heavenly album version are so captivating and uplifting thus making it easy to be incorporated into remixes by the likes of Shogun and Morgan Page. Shogun’s take on “Miss You Paradise” features his energetic style with a driving bassline and a stadium sized drop that will get the crowd going wild. Morgan Page slows it down a bit and takes the song down to 128bpm giving you a progressive electro house version of the original. You can grab the album version along with its remixes now on Beatport and also be sure to stay tuned for the release of Emma’s second album, Burn the Sky Down coming May 18th.
