Street Lurkin – Do You Feel feat. Anna Yvette (Original Mix)

Street Lurkin are not your run of the mill DJ/Production duo. Formed in 2010 by Atlanta’s own Ryan Purcell and Lee Bates, this duo set out to turn dance floors into mosh pits (a common occurrence, actually). In no time, Street Lurkin were supporting acts such as Feed Me, Kill The Noise, A-Trak, Kid Sister, Le Castle Vania, Treasure Fingers, Borgore, and Steve Aoki. Street Lurkin are here to turn up the distortion, crank up the bass, and sucker-punch the eardrums. This awesome new electro-house tune feat. Anna Yvette is taken from their latest release, the ‘Frenemies EP’ which is Out Now on Play Me Records!

Milo & Otis – Friendly City (Original Mix) [Free Download]

Milo & Otis is a collaborative side-project between two Orlando based DJs; Graham Andrew, aka KillaGraham, and Matt Nemethy, aka NYMZ, whose musical influences range from Koan Sound to Tchiakovsky. Milo & Otis focus on an experimental, melodic, moombahton / jump-step sound, and their new track ‘Friendly City’ is a perfect example. Upon first listening to their new tune, a fellow techibeats co-worker and I were debating what genre it would fall under and agreed it would be best labeled as ‘electro-ton’, but we think it’s best if we let you decide.  You can scoop it up here as a free download!

Apogee – Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes (Teaser)

Musically, Apogee prefers complex structures, combining song-like elements with extended instrumental parts, featuring odd rhythms, unusual harmonies, mystical atmospheres with improvised guitar solos. In this track they provide harmonies that you can groove to all night long.  We are looking forward to the full release of this song on April second; these guys definitely have the tools to take them far in the EDM world.

Cypress Hill & Rusko – Roll It, Light It (Official Video Release)

With Cypress Hill and Rusko’s ‘Roll it, Light it’, we are bearing witness to one of dubstep’s highest profile cross genre collaborations yet. These two heavyweights come together to bring you some awesome rap-step by blending Cypress Hill’s signature sound with the kinds of beats customarily heard out of Rusko’s monitors to create a whole new monster. The plodding bassline and distinct vocals give the track the raw energy that only these two artists could create. Along with the audio comes a stunning video that goes as hard as the track. Using futuristic special effects, the video creates a somehow clean but grimy feel that pairs perfectly with the audio to please even the most discerning techi’s palate.

‘Roll It, Light It’ is the first single from the forthcoming 5 track EP, Cypress x Rusko, due to drop this April.
