Just as Electric Daisy Carnival was made into a riveting movie experience for audiences of all ages who were unable to experience it live, Ultra has officially joined in the cinematic thrill– hopefully there won’t be any rioting in Hollywood this time! If you missed out on the festival last year, you’re going to want to catch this in the movies! Who knows, maybe they’ll even come out with a Coachella feature film one day!

Joel Zimmerman, better known as Deadmau5, has just released his latest DVD from his last stop on the Meowingtons Hax tour in Toronto’s Rogers Centre where almost 20,000 people packed to the house to see his incredible production. Deadmau5 has been pushing the boundary of live visual performance since he unveiled “the cube”, and this DVD shows just that. He is clearly showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Deadmau5 – The Meowington Hax Tour

Deadmau5 has been a pioneer theses last few years when it comes to creating a genuinely unique live experience. I think much of his fame can be accredited to his impressive crew team who directs the revolutionary visuals and lighting. Deadmau5 first introduced his infamous cube and ‘talking’ mouse head at Coachella ’10 and it was quite a spectacle. Say what you want to say about the mau5 (I personally am not the biggest fan), but the guy definitely knows how to put on a show. Deadmau5 is teaming up with Avicii, Feed Me, and Tommy Lee & DJ Aero to headline a Halloween spectacular at the San Diego Padres’ Petco Park. The show is sure to be not only one of the biggest shows of the weekend, but of Deadmau5′s entire tour. Be sure to check it out if you have the chance.

With Monster Massive having issues and rumors going around that the event may get shut down it seems like Escape From Wonderland may be the event to buy your tickets to for this coming Halloween season. The Trailer is creepy and you know Insomniac always puts on a great show. Monster Massive is hosting Armin Van Buurens Mirage Tour, the entire event may not happen. Monster Massive is saying that the event is still happening and the rumors are false but the event center where it is being held released this statement…
OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO THOSE OF YOU SEEKING CORRECT INFORMATION SURROUNDING THE MONSTER MASSIVE EVENT:
Clarification to all of you trying to get the correct information. James Event staff CORRECTLY informed all concerned callers when we told you that the event IS NOT TAKING PLACE AT OAK CANYON IN ORANGE. We regret that Go Ventures is misleading their patrons, but unfortunately we are not affiliated with this event. We requested that Go Ventures remove Oak Canyon and all associated James Event Productions information from their website by Monday. We updated our website today because they had not yet met our request. We attempted to contact their offices today and received no call back.
We had been blocked from Monster Massive’s facebook page this afternoon. Their update on facebook today at 5:42pm was posted after our office closed for the business day. We wish Go Ventures the best with the event, wherever it is going to be held, and hope all participants have a safe and enjoyable time.

EDC 2012 TRAILER AND DATES ANNOUNCED!

Electric Daisy Carnival is the greatest dance music festival in the U.S. hands down. Last year many people were concerned about the event moving from LA to Las Vegas. Luckily, it was hands down the best EDC yet and all 230,000 attendees left Vegas blown away. Insomniac has done everything right from free water to a lineup that could not be beat. Perhaps Vegas’ greatest impact on the festival was the fact that it was allowed the music to play until 6 in the morning. With that being said, EDC has now released the dates for next years festival which land on June 8th,9th and 10th. Tickets for the festival go on sale November 1st! I can not stress how important it is to buy your tickets early this year because this festival will most certainly sell out. You heard the news here first at Techibeats.com
