Here, Far Too Loud has given us their entire one hour Rise FM guest mix consisting of some of the dirtiest electro house to date. I knew the mix was going to be hard when right off the bat it opened with Datsik & Kill The Noise’s ‘Lightspeed’. I suggest any of you coming home on a long drive from college throw this on and enjoy in amazement. The mixing quality is to a tee, and the tracklist goes HAM.

Flashback Friday: Benny Bennassi & The Biz – Satisfaction (Radio Edit)

As I’ve said before, Flashback Friday is all about the game changers. On February 23 of 2003, Benny Benassi & The Biz gave us just that with their hit single, “Satisfaction”. Since its release, the track has been remixed, bootlegged, mashed up, sampled, you name it; the song is an anthem. Just months ago, I had the pleasure of seeing Benny at the craziest school on the planet, The University of Arizona, and let me tell you – he has still got it. He concluded his set with Satisfaction (J. Rabbit Bootleg), which completely threw the crowd off guard (in the best way possible), so I thought I’d include it below as well.

Dyro & Loopers – Monster Talk (Original Mix)

One of my personal favorite up and coming producers, Dyro, has collaborated with fellow DJ/producer, Loopers, to create this massive hit rightfully titled, “Monster Talk”. After Dyro gave us a sneak peek at the track a few weeks ago, the anticipation for the release grew heavier and heavier. Both Dyro and Loopers’ control of the synths truly make this song a beast by contrasting the multiple drops’ heavy riffs. This electro house banger will without a doubt climb the charts of Beatport, so expect to hear it at many of this summer’s EDM festivals.

Just yesterday, Jump Smokers posted their awesome remix to Katy Perry’s pop jam, “Wide Awake”. This electro pop remix to the original track features a very catchy melody by incorporating the dirtier styles of EDM and the cleaner aspects of Katy Perry’s sexy vocals. The original song provides a great basis for any producer to interpret, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more remixes to this particular pop anthem.
