We’re up all night to get lucky.” If you haven’t read these words on any social media outlet, or haven’t heard them uttered from Pharrell’s majestic voice then you’re seriously missing out! Daft Punk’s first single off their new album Random Access Memories is the funky jam, “Get Lucky.” What can be better than Pharrell and Daft Punk forming a band and singing about sex? Nothing, is the correct answer. The French duo recently said that EDM wasn’t changing, wasn’t moving, and wasn’t making any progress, so why not add some real instruments? The feedback has been extremely better than Avicii’s take on adding live instruments to an electronic genre.
