Bass heads, we’ve found the mother ship! The notorious UK based Circus Records and my favorite record label of them all has unveiled the ultimate jackpot. This 26 track colossal album features originals, VIP’s, remixes and even a bonus track compiled by the masterminds behind Circus Records. Most notably are Doctor P and Flux Pavilion, but you can’t forget about their heavy artillery support from: Brown & Gammon, Roksonix, Cookie Monsta, FuntCase, The McMash Clan, Mizuki and Slum Dogz. This album is every bass heads dream as it displays sounds that span the entire bass driven genres. Some of the songs are classics which have been freshly re-mastered, and most of the songs are being premiered for their first time. One thing I can say is from song 1 to song 26, you are in for quite the treat and can find this impeccable track list after the jump. Enjoy the album’s minimix below and grab the full album through the iTunes link provided below. Cheers!

If you’ve never heard of UK’s four piece live bass driven band, MODESTEP, then it’s time to get outside. These guys have been re innovating the art of a live performance and have flawlessly incorporated the classic genre of rock/ heavy metal with the evolving genres of bass music. They have already made their mark on the rest of the world and just finished providing a one of a kind live set with their debut North American headlining tour that ended last week in Coachella. With the major success and positive reaction from this tour, they have graciously provided a three song EP titled, “Inside My Head”. This EP is filled with emotion in the three tracks, one which is a collaboration with Teddy Killerz and the vocals of Ghetts fittingly titled, “Inside My Head”. “Prevolution” is the second track on the EP which showcases their superior musical and production talent that results in a relaxing and beautiful composition. The third song of this EP was the highly anticipated remix of Ryan Keen’s “All This Time” which could possibly take the cake as one of the best MODESTEP songs to date. Listen for yourself and make sure to check MODESTEP out as they make their way around the summer festival circuit.

Wobble Wednesday: Skrillex ft. Damian Marley – Make It Bun Dem (MONSTA Bootleg) [Free Download]

artworks-000046224408-1apsf5-t500x500

Last year there was an epidemic of “Make it Bun Dem” remixes that resulted in one of the largest Beatport remix contests to ever be held. As we’ve seen this song dissected and transformed into every way, it’s understandable to be skeptical upon seeing yet another remix of this track. However, fellow OWSLA members, MONSTA, have given this track a whole new light and completely enhanced the familiar stems in all the right ways while still establishing their own sound. The UK trio embellished this track by morphing it into a fast paced, bass slamming track that would fall under the future of bass music in this new “trapstep” movement. Legendary tune, monumental remix and a free download, happy days!

Monsta – Messiah (Feed Me Remix)

feed meIt’s clear that anything Feed Me touches with his fingers of electronic magic will be perfect. His remix of “Messiah” originally by Monsta is yet another example of this perfection, and shows a more subdued side of Feed Me we aren’t used to. Instead of his usual massive womps and grinding synths that blow your ears apart, Feed Me has utilized a less intense production sound to this remix. It has a very high level of BPMs, and the lack of bass is almost quizzical in what we expect from Feed Me. Don’t let that deter you from the beauty that this song possesses. The vocals are the focus of this track, and the melody beneath them is fast and catchy, complimented by a piano riff. Listen to this unique production for yourself, something a little different from the norm for Feed Me.

Wobble Wednesday: Jay-Z – Can I Get A… (Big Gigantic Remix)

big g

Big Gigantic resurrects Jay-Z’s 1998 single, “Can I Get A…” with their own funk sound bringing an old rap anthem together with massive wobbles and that signature saxophone sound. The funk inspired rendition of the insanely famous hip-hop track adds a breath of fresh air to the original song making it sound brand new once again. Big G is a phenomenal duo of musicians as they continue to break down the barriers between electronic music with their live performances, their vintage sound, and their ability to mix and mash any genre of music they please making it completely their own. And not only are Dominic Lalli and Jeremy Salken extremely talented at what they do, but they are also incredibly generous as they have released this gem for free. Don’t snooze on this one and download your own copy of, “Can I Get A… (Big Gigantic Remix)” today!

Wobble Wednesday: Lupe Fiasco Ft. Guy Sebastian – Battle Scars [Free Download]

battle-scars-single

The co-ed bass packing duo hailing from California known as Candyland have had quite the remarkable start to 2013. From winning the Skrillex & Damian Marley “Make it Bun Dem” competition, to releasing an EP on the notorious “Spinnin Records”, to their “Bring the Rain” tour that starts in 2 days in which they will play alongside Justice, Deadmau5, Krewella, Kaskade, and many more – there really is no sign of slowing down from Candyland. Yesterday, they released a Lupe Fiasco Ft. Guy Sebastian remix of the track “Battle Scars”. Although Lupe doesn’t get any time in the lime light of this track, Guy Sebastian’s prominent vocals take over and really inspire the feel of this immaculate composition. The background beat is gritty and builds up flawlessly around Guy Sebastian’s vocals. This tune really showcases the versatility in Candyland’s productions and I’m a big fan! Enjoy the free download and make sure to catch Candyland as they embark on their tour. Catch the tour dates and location after the jump!

Wobble Wednesday: Zeds Dead & Omar Linx – Cowboy (Remixes)

The mere collaboration between Zeds Dead & Omar Linx was a revolutionary thing for the industry within itself; combining the raw power of bass music with hip-hop’s lyrical flow. Their first EP, Victor, released just under a year ago and was a massive hit within the underground community. They have since continued to release new tracks together, but perhaps none bigger than “Cowboy”. The original mix hits you like an emphatic punch with the perfect blend of strength and musicality. Such a track could not go unnoticed by fellow industry favorites the likes of Torro Torro and Congorock. Both have offered their own renditions in this remix package along with lesser known UZ and DC Breaks. There is something here for everyone as a wide array of genres are included in this package such as electro house, trap, drum & bass, electronica, and dubstep. DSCO – The Year of The Snake EP

Ruben Smulovitz, better known as DSCO, has been hard at work ever since his debut self-titled EP landed him in Beatport’s electro house top 10 releases chart back in October. His unique, innovative style has garnered much attention and his second EP, The Year of The Snake, further explores the depths of this prolific producers’s production abilities. “Are You Ready” sounds like a masterful blend of both electro house and trance, as it is fast paced by structure. Beautiful big-room synth progressions give the song an incredibly crisp sound from start to finish. “Smoke” is DSCO’s impressive take on drumstep; a genre that he has previously not had much experience with. He does an admirable job as the track defines his versatility in the studio in the form of a bass-head’s dream come true. Last but not least we have “Scorpion”; a catchy tune that showcases yet another side of DSCO’s diverse skill. The entire EP has something for everybody and is out today via Beatport, so go ahead and pick up your copy today!
