We have been sifting through an endless amount of remixes for Daft Punks newest release ‘Get Lucky’ and we think we have finally found a version worthy of sharing. Queen of pop, Rihanna, has taken a liking to the world of EDM. Little did she know that her hit “Stay” would be transformed from a mellow tune to a massive electro track. Techibeats favorite Dem Slackers has collaborated with Made In June to create this excellent bootleg. The track begins with some slight tweaks to the original, incorporating more BPMs and a snare synth under the vocals. “Stay” then builds with intensity and energy and then drops into grimy electro goodness that would make even Rihanna’s jaw drop. Dem Slackers as always is offering this jewel of a bootleg as a free download through his Soundcloud page. As the Postal Service has risen from the dead just in time to hop on the festival circuit, the Chicago based DJ duo, Team Bayside High, has only intensified the hype surrounding them with another one of their fantastic trap bootlegs. Although I’m accustomed to their heavy trap sound that they’ve established for themselves, Team Bayside High has taken it down a notch to in order to expand upon the beauty of the Postal Service’s rendition of “Such Great Heights.” Deep bass beats, fat electro chords, and lightly complex high hat configurations accentuate the all too familiar melody of the song putting a spin on one of Ben Gibbard’s most famous works of art. The bootleg is a delightful breath of fresh air for the song as Team Bayside High brings back the nostalgia that is associated with the Postal Service along with the excitement of a never before heard version of the song. It is with great pleasure and honor that Techibeats.com presents the exclusive release of the Dem Slackers bootleg of “Thriftshop”. The original track by Macklemore has blown up in mainstream music, but this bootleg makes it seems lackadaisical and boring. Dem Slackers is the Dutch mastermind who has taken the song and injected it with electro synths and an energetic tempo. The bootleg begins with many more BPM’s than Mackelmore could ever dream of. Then comes the soulful lyrics of Wanz, and true to the catchy verse “this is f*cking awesome”, DS blows the lid off “Thrift Shop” with sheer excellence. Your ears will be slammed with robotic grime and after your jaw drops, a smile will spread all the way across your face. Dem Slackers has taken this track to a whole new level of unexpected electro house, and his bootleg of “Thrift Shop” is certainly the best electronic version I have heard. No matter what your opinion of TJ Rozdilsky is, the man knows how to make some epic productions. Mashing one of his own tracks, “Ode to Oi”, with AC/DC’s legendary “TNT”, is an excellent example of TJR’s skills. This is an awesome mashup and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves Australian hard rock and house music. This ones a free download from TJ so thank him by downloading it if you like the track.

Here we have the trap remix of Bingo Player’s arguably most famous song, “Rattle” like you’ve never heard it before. DJ Froto has mashed it up with Quad City DJ’s “Space Jam” to create “Rattle Slam”: the perfect combination of a contemporary trap banger with a nostalgic 90′s spin on it. This beautiful Friday afternoon I have for you a really sick mashup from Mikael Weermets, the Swedish producer who has proven to be a huge up-and-coming player in the electronic dance music world. I first heard of him when he was featured countless times on Tiesto’s Club Life podcast. “Superlove” is one of my favorite melodies of the year, and I’m a sucker for anything with good girl vocals, in this case it’s the voice of Zashanel from Ken Loi’s track “All It Takes.” This mashup is massive!
